Wisdom Corner refers to the land at the corner formed by the junction of Miles Green and Polled Oak Slade. On the Tithe Map, plot 288 (Long Two Acres) is sited at Wisdom Corner. Nowadays, Wisdom Corner is marked by the sharp bend in Queens Road as it turns past the 600 yard firing point on the NRA's Century Range.
