Goodeners was a house and tenement, situated on the northern side of the common at Riding Hill. In the Tithe Award the 'house and garden' was measured at 1 acre 1 rood and 25 perches.

When Stephen Steptoe died in 1892, the farm passed to his son, also named Stephen. Although Stephen junior presumably had possession throughout, he was not formally admitted, through the manor court, until August of 1923.

By 1948, it was known as Snowdrop Farm.
