Dead Hill Mead was a meadow of about half an acre, situated on the north side of Miles Green. In the Tithe Award it is measured at 2 roods and 22 perches; on the OS map as 0.665 acres. The term 'Dead Hill' probably refers to the poor agricultural quality of the land.
