In the name of God Amen I William Piper of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Taylor doe make my last will & Testam.t as followeth I commend my soule to God hopeing to be saved by the Death of Jesus Christ decd I order my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my Exec.rs herein after named and concerneing my worldly estate I give & devise to my Loveing wife Mary for her life all my freehold and Leasehold Mesuage Lands and Tenem.ts in Wokeing aforesaid and alsoe all my goods and chatls for her life and after her Death I give the said freehold and Leasehold Mesuage Lands and Tenem.ts and all my goods and chatls unto Edward Lawford of Wokeing aforesaid Taylor whoe now lives with me and to Sarah Piper the daughter of my late nephew Edward Piper dec.d and to their heires Exec.rs and adm.rs To have and to hold to them the said Edward Lawson and Sarah Piper their heires Exec.rs and adm.rs forever and I doe hereby Revoke and make void all former wills by me att any time heretofore made Ratifying and Confirming this and none other to be my last Will & Testam.t And I desire my Loveing friends Thomas Hoade and Nicholas Dylot to be Overseers of this my Last Will and I give unto them five shillings a piece for their Care and paines to be taken in seeing this my Last will and Testam.t duly pformed over and above their necessary expences to be disbursed in and about the same In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand & Seale the fourteen day of August in the Eleventh yeare of the Raigne of Queene Anne over Great Britain &c anno Dni 1712.
