In the name of God Amen  I John Huntingford the Elder of Wokeing in the 
County of Surry Yeoman  being of perfect mind and memory butt Calling to 
mind the uncertainty of this present life and the certainty of Death do make 
and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following  
First I Commend my soul to God that gave it firmly Relying on the Meritts and 
sufferings of our Lord jesus Christ for Eternall Happiness and Salvation And I 
order my Body to be Decently Buried And as touching my Worldly Estate with 
which it pleased God to bless me I Disspose of in manner following (that is to 
say)  I give to my sons Richard and John Huntingford five shillings Each of 
lawfull Money of England,  I allso Give to my Daughter Mary Wife of William 
Gage the sum of five shillings and to my son Benjamin Huntingford the like 
sum of five shillings Each of like lawfull Money all which I order to be paid by 
my Executricks hearein after Named in twelve months next after my Decease I 
allso Give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Wife of Tho.s Attfeild the sum 
of fiftey pounds of like lawfull Money to be paid her by my Executricks here in 
after named out of my personall or Real Estate at the end of twelve months 
next after my Decease I allso Give and bequeath to Ann my Well beloved Wife 
all that my House and malt House with all the appurtenances thareto 
belonging together with five Closes of Land thareto belonging and adjoyning 
Containing by Estimation Eight Acres of Land whareof five acres and a half lying 
in the parish of Wokeing and two acres and a half In the parrish of Pirbright I 
the County of Surry aforesaid the same being all free hold with and Unlimitted 
power to sell Give and Dispose of the same as shee Pleaseth and sees most 
meett and proper never the less Subject to the payment of My Debts and 
Legacies hearein before Mentioned,  I further Give Unto Ann my sd loving Wife 
all the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels Reale or Personable Estates 
whatsoever and wharesoever after my Funerall Expences Debts and Leagacies 
are paid and Lastly I Nominate and apoint my sd Loving Wife sole and only 
Executrix of this my last Will and testament Revoking and utterly dissanulling 
all other former Wills  In Testimony whereof I have sett my Hand and Seale this 
fourth Day of August In the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and

On the Eighteenth of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred 
and forty four issued forth a Commission to John Huntingford Sole Executor 
named in the last Will and Testament of Ann Huntingford widow whilst living 
the Relict and sole Executrix and Residuary Legatee named in the last Will and 
Testament of John Huntingford the elder late of Wokeing in the County of 
Surry deceased to administer with the will annexed he being the ... the Goods 
Chattells and Credits of the said Deceased and to perform the said will the said 
Ann Huntingford Widow dying without taking upon her the Execution of the 
said Will.
