In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Jelly of Wokeing in the County of Surrey widow being sick and weak in Body but sound & perfect in mind memory and understanding praised be almighty God for the same Do make publish and declare this to be my last will & Testament in manner following (that is to say) First and principally I comend my soule into the hands of Almighty God hopeing through the merritts Death and passion of my only saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ to have full remission for all my sins my body I Comitt to the Earth to be decently buried by my Executors hereafter named And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith almighty God has bestowed on Me I Give and Dispose thereof as followes Imprimis I give and bequeath all my ready money Bonds book Debts Stock household Goods and all the Rents and Profits of all that Coppyhold Messuage or Tenem.t Gardens Backsides Barns Stables & premises wth the Appurt.s scituate in the Town Street and also of all that Freehold Messuage or Tenem.t & premises and two acres of Land comonly called Foxcroft scituate in Wokeing aforesaid for and so long as the said Elizabeth Jolly might have Had and received the same by virtue of my late Husbands will bearing Date the seaventh Day of april last past and also all other my Estate whatsoever unto my Loveing Friends John Slyfield of Wokeing aforesaid Yeom Alexander Goodyer of the same place Cooper and John Symonds of Stoke next Guildford in the County aforesaid yeom and to the survivor of them and to the Exectors & Admors of such survivor or to such persons as they or the survivor of them shall appoint to manage the Trust hereby reposed in them and to the survivor of such persons In trust and upon this Special Trust and Confidence that they the said John Slyfield Alexander Goodyer & John Symonds and the Survivor of them and the Exectors & Admors of such survivor or such persons whom they shall appoint as aforesaid shall with all convenient speedthey can pay of all the Debts of my late Husband James Jelly and with the remainder bring up all my Children untill they become Intitled to their Estates and Legacies given them by my said late Husbands will and then and so soon as the same shall become due and payable to pay of & discharge the same as in and by the said will beareing date the said seaventh Day of april last past is particularly directed & Limmitted and the money that shall be left after all Debts & Legacies paid together with the Expences of bring up my said Children and all other Charges discharged & Deducted I give and bequeath equally between all my Children that shall be living att the finishing this Trust Item I do nominate Constitute ordayne and appoint my said loveing Friends John Slyfield Alexander Goodyer & John Symonds Executors of this my last will & Testament to whom I give Twenty shillings a piece over and above their Charges in manageing this Trust hereby reposed in them and I do hereby null and make void all former wills by me heretofore made In Wittness whereof I the said Elizabeth Jelly have to this my last will & Testament sett my hand & seale the seaventeenth Day of May in the Ninth Year of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lady Queen of Great Brittain &c and in the year of our Lord one thousand Seaven Hundred & Tenn The mark of Elizabeth X Jelly Signed Sealed Published & Declared by the said Elizabeth Jelly to be her last Will & Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our Names in the presence of the said Elizabeth Jelly Sara Jelly the mark of Jane X Wells Hell Cawly DW/PA/5/1710/66 The Condition of this Obligation is such That if the within bounden John Slyfeild Alexander Goodyer & John Symonds Exrs named in the last Will & Testam.t of Elizabeth Jelley widow deced whilst living Excx & Residuary Legatary named in the last will & Testamt of James Jelley late of Wooking in ye County of Surrey deced & Admors of all & Singular the goods chattles & credits of ye sd James Jelley deced with his sd will annexed ye sd Elizabeth Jelley dyeing before she proved ye sd will do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods chattells and credits of the sd deceased which have or shall come to their hands possession or knowledge; And the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Archdeacon of Surrey at or before the last day of December next ensueing And the same goods chattells and credits do well and truly administer that is to say do pay the debts of the said deceased which he did owe at his decease; And then the legacies contained in the said Will annexed to the said letters of Administration so to them committed as far as his goods, chattells and credits will thereto extend and the Law charge them And further do make or cause to be made a true and just accompt of such administration when they shall be thereunto lawfully required And all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattells and credits which shall be found remaining upon their said Accompt and not otherwise disposed of in the said Will examined and allowed of by the Judge of the said Court for the time being shall distribute and dispose in such manner and forme as shall be limited by the directionof the saidJudge And lastly do at all times hereafter clearly acquit discharge and save harmlesse the within named official and all other Officers of the said Court against all persons having or pretending to have any right title or interest unto the goods, chattells and credits of the said deceased; Then this Obligation to be void and of none effect or else to remaine in full force and virtue.
