This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Dale Senior in the Parish of Newdigate in the County of Surry Husbandman First I Give and bequeath unto my two Sons John Dale of the Parish of Rusper Farmer and Joseph Dale of the Parish of Newdigate Farmer Share and Share alike All my Household Goods and Implements of Household Stuff whatsoever And also all my Linnen and Cloaths which at the time of my Decease I Shall Die Possessed with and all my Ready Money or other Money whatsoever that Shall be due or owing to me from any Person or Persons whatsoever at the time of my decease they paying my Just Debts which I Shall owe to any person at my decease Item I Give and bequeath unto my Grandson Joseph Dale of the Parish of Rusper in the County of Sussex Farmer and his Heirs for ever after my Decease all that my House or Messuage and Orchards in the Parish of Chalwood in the County of Surry now in the Tenour or Occupation of Josiah Humphery and James Jordan he paying to my Granddaughters Mary Borer and Sarah Dale daughters of John Dale of Rusper aforesaid in One year after my decease the Sum of Five Pounds a Piece of Good and Lawful Money And I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint my Grandson Joseph Dale whole and sole Executor he paying my Funeral Charges of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby revoke Annul and make Void all other Wills by me formerly made In Witness whereof I the said Joseph Dale have to this my last Will containing half a Sheet of Paper this Sixth day of May In the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Seven the Mark of Joseph Dale Senior in the Presence of us whose Names are hereunder written and by us Subscribed in the Presence of the said Testator William Batchelar _ the Mark of Mary Johnson Servant to Joseph Dale Jno Chapman Proved at London 20 September 1760 PCC Prob11/859
