In the Name of God Amen I John Clinch of Farnham 
in the County of Surry Coach Master of the age of 
Eighteen years ...... and upwards and of sound and 
disposing Mind Memory and Understanding do make 
publish and declare this to be and contain my last Will 
and Testament First and Principally I recommend my 
Soul to Almighty God trusting on the only Merits and 
Mediation of Jesus Christ my Redeemer for Pardon and 
Forgiveness of my Sins and my body I request may be 
interred in my Family Vault at Farnham and as to such 
Estate and Effects with which it has been pleased God 
to bless me I dispose thereof as follows I direct that my 
just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences may in 
the first place be fully paid and discharged I Give and 
bequeath to Thomas Thatcher now in my Service 
the Legacy or Sum of Two Hundred Pounds of lawful 
Money Also I Give and bequeath to Thomas Denner 
of Northcote House near Honiton in the County of 
Devon the Legacy or Sum of One Hundred Pounds of 
lawful Money for his Civility and kindness to me on my 
late Journey into Devonshire Also I Give and bequeath 
to Henry Webb my Horse Keeper at Hounslow the 
Sum of Fifty Pounds of lawful Money for his long and 
Faithful Services in my Family all which three Legaces I 
request may be paid within Six Calendar Months after 
my decease and I also direct that the Government Duty 
of the said Henry Webb's Legacy may be paid out of 
the Residue of my Estate and all my Leasehold Estates 
situate and being in the City of London with the stock 
of Horses Coaches and all other Effects belonging to my 
Business of a Coachmaster with all Monies in the Public 
Funds and all the rest and residue of my Estate and 
Effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever 
being I Give and bequeath the same and every part 
thereof unto my Dear Mother Sarah Clinch To hold 
the same unto her my said Mother Sarah Clinch her 
Executors Admor and Assigns absolutely and I do 
hereby nominate constitute and appoint her my said 
Mother sole Executrix of this my last Will and 
Testament and lastly I do revoke every former Will by 
me made In Witness whereof I the said John Clinch 
have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand 
and seal this twenty fifth day of July in the Year of our 
Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Six John Clinch
