In the name of God Amen the Third day of August in the Foure and 
Thirtieth yeare of the raigne of our Sovraigne Lord Charles the 
Second by the Grace of God King of England &ts Annoq Domi 1682 I 
William Collyer of Woking in the County of Surrey yeoman being 
sick and weake in Body but of sound and perfect mind and memory 
praysed be Allmighty God for the same doe make this my Last Will 
and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)  First 
and principally I bequeath my soule to Almighty God my Creator 
assuredly beleiveing that by the meritts and reconciliation of my 
blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I shall receive full pardon and 
free remission of all my sinnes and be saved and I bequeath my Body 
to the Earth to be decently & xpianly buryed according to the 
discretion of my Executors hereafter named  And as for such 
Temporall Estate as the Lord of his infinite goodness and mercy hath 
lent unto me with I bequeath the same as followeth.   Imp.rs I give 
and bequeath All my Household Goods Utensills and Implements of 
Husbandry And all my Stock whatsoever of what kind or nature 
soever it be either in mine own possession or in the possession of 
any others for me, Unto my trusty and well beloved Friends & 
Brethren in Law (that is to say) John Scotcher of Horsell in the 
County of Surrey aforesaid yeoman, and John Martin of Purbright in 
the said County of Surrey yeoman And Lawrence Porter of Woking 
aforesaid yeoman  And I doe intrust and impower them the said 
John Scotcher and John Martin and the said Lawrence Porter to 
order dispose and doe therewith for the true payment of a Legacy or 
sume of One hundred and Fifty pounds of lawfull money of England 
unto my daughter Anne Collyer when she shall accomplish her full 
age of One and twenty yeares  And alsoe One Moiety or equall part 
of the sume of One hundred and Fifty pounds which I give and 
bequeath unto my daughter Jane Collyer for a Legacy of lawfull 
money of England to be paid unto her out of the moneyes raysed of 
my Goods & Stock beforementioned when she shall accomplish her 
full age of One and twenty yeares  my Debts & Funerall charges 
thereof being first sattisfyed and paid  And my Will & meaning is that 
what moneyes shall be wanting to make up the sume of One 
hundred and Fifty pounds menconed given and bequeathed unto my 
said daughter Jane Collyer out of my Goods & Stock first 
abovementioned my daughter Anne Collyer being first sattisfyed & 
paid her Legacy or further sume of One hundred and Fifty pounds 
and Debts & Funerall charges afforesaid I will and devise the residue 
of the said Legacy or sume of One hundred & Fifty pounds to the said 
Jane To be paid equally by my two sonnes William Collyer and John 
Collyer out of my Freehold Lands hereafter given and bequeathed 
unto them menconed & expressed in this my prst last Will and 
Testament  Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah 
Collyer the full sume of One hundred and Fifty pounds of lawfull 
money of England to be paid unto her by the said William Collyer my 
sonne out of my Freehold Lands hereafter menconed to him given 
and bequeathed when she shall accomplish her full age of One and 
twenty yeares  Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary 
Collyer the full sume of One hundred and Fifty pounds of lawfull 
money of England to be paid unto her by the said John Collyer my 
sonne out of my Freehold Lands hereafter menconed to him given 
and bequeathed when she shall accomplish her full age of One and 
twenty yeares  Item I give and bequeath unto the said William 
Collyer my sonne and his heires All that my Freehold Messuage or 
Tenement scituate lyeing and being in the Tything of Goldworth in 
Woking afforesaid together with all my Freehold Lands thereunto 
belonging or apptayning But if that the said William my sonne shall 
refuse to pay the severall Legacyes or sumes before menconed w.ch 
on his pt are and ought to be paid and what also shall be herein & 
hereafter menconed & declared by him to be paid and done 
according to the true meaning of this my prst Will That then the 
Messuage or Tenement and Lands before menconed I give bequeath 
and devise the same unto the said John Collyer my sonne and his 
heires paying unto the said William my sonne the sume of Twenty 
pounds of lawfull money of England yearely and every yeare by even 
& equal halfe yearly payments dureing the tearme of his naturall life  
Item I give and bequeath unto the said John Collyer my sonne and his 
heires All that my Freehold Messuage or Tenement and Lands 
scituate lyeing and being in Ewehurst in the County of Surrey 
afforesaid called or knowne by the name of Radnar al:s Radnor or by 
what other name or names soever called lately purchased & bought 
of one Overington Jeales of Ewehurst afforesaid To have and to hold 
unto the said John Collyer and his heires for ever when he shall 
attaine to his age of One and twenty yeares, he paying and allowing 
two parts of the maintainance Educacon and bringing up of my said 
two daughters Sarah and Mary untill they shall attaine to their 
severall ages of One & twenty yeares, And it is my Will and meaning 
that the said William Collyer my sonne shall well and truly pay and 
allow one part more of & for the said maintainance Educacon & 
bringing up of the said Sarah and Mary my daughters untill they shall 
attaine to their said severall ages of One & twenty yeares  And it is 
further my Will and meaning that if either of my said two sones 
William Collyer and John Collyer shall happen to die before he shall 
accomplish his age of One & twenty yeares having no Issue of his 
Body lawfully begotten, that then the survivor of either of them shall 
well & truly pay unto the said Anne Collyer Jane Collyer Sarah Collyer 
& Mary Collyer my said daughters to each of them the full sume of 
Fifty pounds of lawfull money of England severally  And alsoe it is my 
further Will and meaning that if any or either of my said daughters 
shall happen to die before they or she attaine to their or her sd 
sevrall ages of One & twenty yeares having no Issue of her or their 
Body or Bodyes lawfully begotten That then her or their sevrall 
Legacy or sume before & herein this my prst last Will and Testament 
menconed shall be equally devided & paid to and amongst the 
survivours of my said daughters  Item all the rest of my Goods and 
Chattells whatsoever not allready given and bequeathed I give & 
bequeath unto the said John Scotcher, John Martin and Lawrence 
Porter whom I make nominate and ordaine Executors in trust to this 
my said last Will and Testament and I doe herein & hereby intrust 
and impower them & every of them to receive & take up the Rents 
and proffitts of my said Freehold Messuages or Tenements and 
Lands untill my said sones William Collyer and John Collyer shall 
attaine to their said severall and respective ages of One & twenty 
yeares, and to order dispose & doe of all my Household Goods 
Utensills & Implements and all my stock before menconed according 
to the true intent and meaning of this my present last Will and 
Testament  And I desire my trusty and loveing Friend and Kinsman 
Angelo Burt of the pish of St Maryes in Guildford in the County of 
Surrey afforesaid Cloathworker to be Overseer of this my said Last 
Will & Testament and I frustrate and make void all former Willes by 
me made & done and I declare this to be my Last Will and Testament 
only  In wittnes whereof I have to this my present last Will and 
Testament conteyned in foure sheetts of paper fixed together at the 
uper end thereof to every sheet thereof severally I have set my hand 
and seale the day and yeare in the First sheet first above written.
