In the Name of God Amen The Twelfth day of July in the tenth yeare of the reigne of our sovereigne Lord King George over Great Britaine etc Annoq dni 1724 I George Lee of Wokeing in The County of Surrey Yeoman being sick of body but of perfect Mind memory & understanding thanks be given to God for the same Doe make and ordaine this my Last will and testament revokeing all former Wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made Imprimis I Chearfully resigne my Soule into the hands of Almighty God assuredly trusting for mercy thro' the Meritts of my saviour the Lord Jesus Christ and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried by the discretion of my Executrix herein after named And as to the disposition of my temporall Estate I give and dispose of the same as followeth (that is to say) Item I hereby give devise and bequeath unto my loving wife Frances Lee All that my Copyhold Messuage or tenem.t outbuildings Lands and premisses (as set forth in my surrend.r) unto my said Wife Frances Lee for and dureing the terme of her naturall Life without impeachm.t of wast and after the Death of my said Wife I hereby give devise and bequeath the said Messuage or tenem.t outbuildings Lands and premisses with all the appurtenances to my son John Lee and his Heires forever Item I hereby give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Lee the sume of Forty pounds of Lawfull Money of Great Britaine Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne Lee Thirty pounds of like Lawfull Money Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Lee Thirty pounds of like Lawfull Money All which said sumes or Legacies I appoint my said son John Lee to pay within one yeare next after my wifes decease and I hereby Charge my said Messuage Lands and Premisses with the paym.t thereof All the rest and residue of my Goods Chattles and Psonall Estate unbequeathed I hereby give and bequeath unto my said Wife Frances Lee Constituting and ordaining my said wife full whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament In Testimony whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & Seal the day and yeare first above written George Lee Signed Sealed published and Declared by the above named George Lee the Testator to be his Last Will and testam.t in the presence of us who as witnesses subscribe our Names in the presence of the said Testator George Lee William Wisdom James Johnson Rob: Harvest Probatum fuit ... sexto die Mensis Septem anno Dni 1729 ...
