In the name of God Amen The twenty third day of March in the 
year of our Lord God 1718  I Rich.d Wisdom of Sutton in the 
parish of Woking in the County of Surry Yeoman being of 
sound & perfect minde & memory do make & ordain this my 
Last will & Testament in manner & form following (that is to 
say) first & principally I commend my Soul to Almighty God 
who gave it me hoping to be saved by the death & passion of 
Jesus Christ his only son my Saviour & Redeemer & my body I 
comitt to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buried 
att the discretion of my Executor hereafter named, & as for such 
Estate as the Lord in his Mercy has bestowed on me I give & 
Bequeath as followeth  Imprimis I Give & Bequeath to my Son 
in Law William Geale the sum of Fifty Pounds to be paid to 
him wthin three Months after my decease & in case my said Son 
in Law Wm Geale shall not live to receive the same the said 
sum of Fifty Pounds my will & Meaning is to be to my 
Daughter Jane Wife of the said William Geale  Item I give & 
Bequeath to my Son in Law Richard Hayward the sum of fifty 
pounds to be paid to him wthin three Months after my decease & 
in case my said Son in Law Richard Hayward shall not live to 
receive the same the said sum of Fifty Pounds my will & 
Meaning is that the said sum of fifty pounds shall be paid to my 
Daughter Elizabeth Wife of the said Richard Hayward at the 
time before menconed  Item I Give & bequeath to my Sister 
Mary German the sum of Fifty Pounds to be paid to her wthin 
three Months after my decease & in case she shall not live to 
receive the same the said money shall be to my Executor 
hereafter named  Item I Give & bequeath to my Cousins 
Richard Howard Ann Howard & Elizabeth German 
Children of the said Mary German my Sister the sum of Fifty 
shillings apiece & in case the said Legatees shall nott live to 
receive the same the said sum or sums of mony shall be to my 
Exec'r hereafter nam'd  Item my will & meaning is thatt these 
Legacies shall be paid by my Executor hereafter nam'd  Item I 
Give to my Son John Wisdom all the rest of my Goods & 
Chattels wch I have not here bequeathed & make him the said 
John Wisdom my Son my full & sole Executor of this my Last 
Will and Testament he paying my debts & legacies & funerall 
Charges & I null & make void all former Wills by me made & 
declare this to be my Last Will and Testament only
