This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Waterer Widow of Jesse Waterer of Mayford in the parish of Woking in the County of Surry being as God has been pleased; obliged to labour under the pains and affliction of a broken Leg but of sound Memory and Understanding. Having but Little to dispose of I hereby do it as follows that is to say. Elizabeth Chapman Wife of George Chapman to I Give and bequeath Ten Pounds; The rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Clothes &c together with all and every of my Profits: after my Just Debts my Funeral Expenses &c. bee paid: I Order Give & devise as follows that is to say; The above named Elizabeth Chapman, James Mersh, Jesse Waterer Algrove & John Motsage to have equal share & share alike Exclusive of the above mentioned Ten Pounds given to Elizabeth Chapman as an acknowledgment for her services: I also Nominate the above Named James Mersh to be my whole and sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament & that he shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid all & every of the above named Payments within Twelve Months after my Decease Signed Sealed and Declared in the presence of us who in the Presence of each other and at her Request have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses this Thirty first day of May one Thousand Eight hundred and Four. her mark X Ann Waterer his mark X James Brisk Ann Brisk Jn Moilur This will of Ann Waterer late of Mayford in the Parish of Woking in the County of Surry Widow deceased was proved the fourth day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Four Before the Rev.d Henry Hammond Clerk a Surrogate by the Oath of James Mersh the sole Executor within named to whom Administration was granted he having been first sworn duly to administer.
