This is the last will and Testament of me Richard Vincent of Wokeing in the County of Surrey yeoman First I direct that all my just Debts and Funeral expences be fully paid and satisfied and to that End and purpose I Give and Devise unto my Father John Vincent of the Parish of Stoke next Guildford in the County of Surrey Gentleman my Friend Richard Street of West Clandon in the said County Gentleman and my Father in Law Richard Bonsey of Horsel in the said County yeoman and their heirs All that my Freehold Messuage or Tenement and Farm with the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the Parish of Horsel in the said County of Surrey late in the occupation of John Shaw or his assigns and called or known by the name of Carters Lane Farm and also all that my Copyhold Messuage or Tenement with the Barn Stable Yard Garden and about Twenty acres of Land more or less thereunto belonging with their and every of their appurtenances called or known by the name of Morehatch now in my own occupation and situate lying and being in the Town of Wokeing aforesaid and held by me by Copy of Court Roll of the Manor of Wokeing and which I have surrendered to the Use of my Will Upon Trust that they the said John Vincent Richard Street and Richard Bonsey or the survivor of them or his heirs do and shall with all convenient speed after my decease sell surrender and convey the said Freehold and Copyhold premises unto any person or persons who will become purchasor or purchasors thereof for the most monies that they can reasonably get for the same And it is my Will that after such sale they the said John Vincent Richard Street and Richard Bonsey or the survivor of them or his heirs do and shall pay apply and dispose of the Monies arising therefrom in the first place towards payment and discharge of all my just Debts and Funeral expences and after the same shall be paid and satisfied and subject thereto I Give and Bequeath unto my affectionate Wife Elizabeth Vincent all the remainder of the Monies arising from such sale that shall remain in their hands and I do direct them to pay the same to her accordingly for her own proper use and benefit and I do hereby Declare that the Receipt or Receipts of them the said John Vincent Richard Street and Richard Bonsey or the survivor of them or his heirs under their his or her hands or hand respectively shall from time to time be a good and effectual discharge to the Purchasor or purchasors and his her and their heirs Executors admors and assigns for so much of the Purchase money as shall in any such Receipt or Receipts be expressed to be received and after such Receipt or Receipts shall be given such Purchasor or Purchasors respectively shall be absolutely acquitted and discharged of and from the same and shall not be answerable or accountable for any loss misapplication or nonapplication of the said purchase money or any part thereof Also I Give and Devise unto my said Wife Elizabeth Vincent and her heirs All that my Freehold Messuage or Tenement Farm Lands and hereditaments with their and every of their appurts called or known by the name of Grove Barrs situate lying and being in the Parish of Horsell aforesaid now in the occupation of James Marter and also all that Close of Meadow Ground lying in the Parish of Chertsey in the said County of Surrey Containing by Estimation five acres be the same more or less now in the occupation of John Harris and all my Estate Right Title and Interest in the same respectively either in Reversion or Remainder To hold to her my said wife Elizabeth her heirs and assigns for ever And I Give Devise and Bequeath unto her my said Wife Elizabeth Vincent her heirs Executors and admors absolutely for ever all the rest and residue of my Messuages Lands Tenements hereditaments and Real Estate and also all my Goods Chattells Rights Credits and Personal Estate of what nature or kindsoever and wheresoever situate lying or being And I doe hereby Constitute and appoint my said Wife Elizabeth Vincent to be Executrix of this my last will and Testament And it is my Will that neither of them the said John Vincent Richard Street and Richard Bonsey shall be answerable or accountable for any more monies than they shall respectively actually receive Nor shall either of them be answerable or accountable for the Acts or defaults of the other of them but each for his own respective Act and default And I do desire that they the said John Vincent Richard Street and Richard Bonsey do by and out of the Trust monies that shall come to their hands respectively in Execution and performance of the Trusts of this my Will retain to themselves the Sum of Five pounds each as a Gratuity for their accepting and acting in the said Trust and do further desire that they do also thereout reimburse him and themselves for all such attendance Trouble Costs Charges Damages and expences that they or either of them shall or may respectively sustain or be put unto in the Execution and performance of the before mentioned Trusts or any of them In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament contained in two sheets of paper set my hand to the first sheet thereof and to this second and last sheet thereof my hand and seal this third day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty three.
