In the name of God Amen The Five and twentieth day of June in the Six and thirtieth yeare of the Raigne of our Sovraigne Lord King Charles the second &t Annoqe dni 1684 I Nicholas Hunt of Woking in the County of Surrey yeoman being sick and weak in Body but of sound and perfect mind and memory praysed be Almighty God for the same doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner & forme following (That is to say) First and principally I comend my soule to Almighty God my Creator assuredly beleiving that by the meritts & reconcisiacon of our blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ I shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my sinnes and be saved And I bequeath my Body to the Earth to be decent and Christianly buryed according to the discretion of mine Executrixe hereafter named And as for such temporall Estate as the Lord of his infinite goodness and mercy hath lent unto me I give and bequeath the same as followeth Impr:s I give and bequeath unto my sonne Nicholas Hunt the sume of Twenty shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him by my said Executrix Item I give and bequeath unto Rebeccah Hunt my now wife my best Feather Bed and Bolster and five Feather Pillowes and the Bedsted Matt and Cord & Curtaine Rods thereto belonging now standing and being in the Chamber over the Bakehouse where I now dwell And alsoe the best Curtaines and Valeines and Foure Pillow Baggs, Foure paire of the best sheetts one dozen & halfe of the best Napkins One Diaper Table Cloath and one Flax Table Cloath, One Brasse Pott, and the great Brasse Kettle, One Brasse Skillett, two pewter Dishes, One Trunke and one great Joynt Chest, and one Box And the Eight Square Table now in the Parlour where I now dwell, Foure Joynt Stooles, one paire of Andirons, one Fire Shovell and one paire of Tongs, one paire of Potthooks and one paire of Potthangers, Three small drink Tubbs Item I give and bequeath moreover unto the said Nicholas Hunt my sonne, One long Table, one Joynt Bedsted Matt and Cord, one Joynt Cupboard, and one great joynt Chaire all which now standing and being as standers in my house called by the name of Feilders in the Tything of Heathside in Woking afforesaid, Item I give and bequeath unto Rebeccah Wells my daughter, one Feather Bed and Bolster now and allready in her owne actuall possession, Item all the rest of my Goods and Chattells Household stuffe and Implements of Household and all other my Stock I give and bequeath unto the said Rebeccah Hunt my now wife to be sold and she to satisfy and pay all my Debts and Legacyes before named and Funerall Charges, and what shall be left and remaining shall be equally shared & devided and paid unto and amongst the rest of my Children hereafter named (That is to say) Rebeccah Wells my daughter, and Elizabeth Hunt my daughter, And Robert Hunt James Hunt, William Hunt and John Hunt my sonnes at such tyme and tymes as I doe herein & hereby this my present last Will and Testament nominate declare and apoint (That is to say) to Rebeccah Welles my said daughter her part within Twelve months next after my decease And alsoe unto the said Elizabeth Hunt my said daughter her part or share to be paid within two yeares next after my decease, And alsoe unto Robert Hunt my sonne his part or share to be paid unto him wthin Foure yeares next after my decease And alsoe unto the said James Hunt my sonne his part or share to be paid unto him within Six yeares next after my said decease And alsoe unto the said William Hunt my sonne his equall part or share to be paid unto him within Eight yeares next after my decease And unto the said John Hunt my sonne his equall part or share to be paid unto him within Tenn yeares next after my decease And it is my will and meaning That if any or either of my said children (that is to say) Rebeccah Welles Elizabeth Hunt Robert Hunt James Hunt William Hunt and John Hunt shall happen to die or depart this life before her his their or any of their part or parts wch shall soe happen to die as afforesaid shall become due and payable having no Issue of her his or their Bodies surviving at the said time or times of payment That then the share or part or shares or parts of them or either of them wch shall then die or depart this life (having no Issue as afforesaid surviveing) to be equally shared devided and paid unto and amongst the rest of my said Children wch shall be then living and to the Issue of the Body or Bodies of any or either of my said Children wch shall soe live an equall part or share as the rest of my said Children before named And I nominate appoint and declare the said Rebeccah Hunt my loveing Wife Executrix of this my present last Will & Testament she carefully & faithfully paying doeing & performing as before in this my present last Will & Testament is mentioned conteyned & declared and according to the true intent & meaning thereof And I desire my trusty and loveing Freinds Lionell Rawlins of Woking afforesaid Gent and Lawrence Porter of the same yeoman to be Overseers of and to this my present last Will & Testament and to be assistant to my said Executrix in her duty & office of Executrix And I give & bequeath to each of them for & towards their Care & paines herein & hereby the sume of Tenn shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid unto them by my said Executrix In Wittnes whereof I have hereunto this my present last Will and Testament Conteyned in two sheets of paper Fixed together at the uper end thereof set my hand and Seale the day and yeare in the first sheet first above written.
