In the name of God Amen the Twenty fourth day of February Anno Domini 1732 and in the sixth year of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord George the second (by the Grace of God) of Great Brittaine France and Ireland King defender of the Faith &t I Robert Howard of the parish of St Saviours Southwark in the Liberty of the Clink in the County of Surry Cooper, being in good health of Body and praised be God of sound and perfect mind and Memory in regard of the Uncertainty of this present Life and the Certainty of Death do make Publish and this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (That is to say) First and Principally I recomend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing through the merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to receive pardon and remission of all my sins and to be made partaker of Everlasting felicity in the Life to come and my Body I Comit to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix whome I shall hereafter name and all summ and summs of Money Lands Tenements Goods Chattles and Estate whatsoever wherewith at the time of my Decease I shall be poss'ed or invested or which shall belong or of right appertaine unto me I do give Devise and Bequeath as followeth (Viz.t) Imprimis I Give and bequeath unto my loveing Brother John Howard of Great Marlow in the County of Bucks Maltster One Guinea of lawful money of Great Brittaine Item I Give and bequeath unto my loveing Brother James Howard of the parish of Bissum in the County of Bearkshire Ropemaker One Guinea of lawful money of Great Brittaine Item I Give and bequeath unto my loveing Sister Elizabeth living in Marlow in the County of Bucks One Guinea of lawful money of Great Brittaine Item I Give and bequeath unto my loveing Wife Mary Howard all the rest Residue & Remainder of my Goods Chattels Houses or Tenements and all other of my Estate and do make ordaine and Constitute her my full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and do revoke all former Wills & Deeds of Gift by me at any time heretofore made and do ordain these presents to stand and be for and as my last Will and Testament for Ever Witness my Hand and Seal to the day and year first above written. Robart Howard Signed Sealed Published and delivered in the presence of Jeremiah Hollis Rich.d Cutter Henry Hind This Will was proved the twenty eighth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred thirty three before the Worshipfull Charles Pinfold Doctor of Laws Commissary for the parts of Surrey lawfully constituted (during our annual visitation) by the Oath of Mary Howard Widow the Relict and sole Executrix of the said deceased To whom was committed Letters of Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the said deceased she being first sworn duly to administer the same.
