In the name of God Amen  the sixteenth day of June Annoq Domini 
1726 and in the twelfth yeare of the Reigne of our Gracious 
Soveraign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France 
and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c  I George Fenn of Horsell 
in the county of Surry Carpenter being sick and weak in body but of 
sound and perfect mind and memory praised be God therefore doe 
make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and 
forme Following hereby Revokeing and annulling all former and 
other will or wills by me heretofore made and this to be taken for my 
last will and Testament and no other (that is to say)  First and 
principally I Commend and bequeath my Soul into the hands of 
Allmighty God my Creator and Redeemer hopeing in and by the 
Reconciliation of Jesus Christ to be saved and my body to the Earth 
from whence it came to be decently buried at the discretion of my 
Executor hereafter named and as touching such Temporal Estate as 
the Lord far above my Deserts hath bestowed upon me my will and 
meaning is the same shall be Imployed and bestowed as hereafter in 
and by this my will is expressed  Imprimis I give and bequeath unto 
my Beloved wife Mary Fenn Five pounds a year during her Naturall 
life to be paid as is hereinafter directed out of my Lands and 
Tenements in Thorpe to be in full satisfaction of and for her Dower 
and right of thirds in all my Lands Tenements and Tythes  Item I 
Alsoe give and bequeath unto my said Wife all the five pounds a year 
due and payable upon a Certain Bond bearing date December the 5th 
1718 from my Son in Law John Collyer late of Horsell aforesaid 
Yeoman Deceased payable unto me and my said Wife and the 
Survivor of us two  Item I further give and bequeath unto my said 
Wife all those severall goods Mentioned in a Certain Schedule or 
Inventary whereunto I have sett my hand the day of the date of this 
my will which said Goods shall be to and for the only use of her 
during the Terme of her Naturall life if she shall so long Continue and 
remayne a widow and not else  Item I give and bequeath unto my 
youngest son John Fenn after my said Wifes decease or Expiration of 
her Widowhood all those severall goods in the Schedule or Inventary 
herein before mentioned to and for his only use to doe and dispose 
of them as he shall think fitt  Item I give devise and bequeath unto 
my said youngest son John Fenn all my Lands and Tenements lying 
and being in the parish of Thorpe in the said County of Surry which I 
lately purchased of Mr Limewood als Fisher and every part and 
parcell thereof with their and every of their appurtenances to 
Remaine and be to the sole use and behoofe of my said son John 
Fenn his Heirs and assignes for ever and to have full power to take 
the same upon himself when he shall attain unto the age of two and 
twenty years upon this Condition that he my said son John Fenn his 
Heirs and assignes and my Trustees hereafter named doe and shall 
out of the Lands and Tenements hereinbefore given him well and 
Truly pay or cause to be paid unto my said wife five pounds a year of 
Lawfull Brittish money during the Terme of her Naturall life and to be 
paid unto her Quarterly and the First quarterly payment to be due 
and payable upon the next quarter day that shall happen next after 
my decease and to be in full satisfaction of her dower or Right of 
thirds above mentioned and if it shall so happen that my said son 
John Fenn his Heirs or Assignes or my Trustees hereafter named do 
refuse to pay unto my said Wife the five pounds before mentioned 
and at such times as is before directed that then it shall be Lawfull to 
and for my said Wife to enter in and upon the said Lands and 
Tenements and the same to possess and enjoy until she shall be fully 
satisfyed and paid and my will is that if my said Wife do Demand and 
Insist upon having her dower or thirds out of any of my Lands 
Tenements and Tythes then I doe hereby make Void and of None 
Effect all the Legacies herein before given her  Item I give devise and 
bequeath unto my Eldest son George Fenn all that my Leasehold 
Messuage or Tenement and all my Lands and Hereditaments with 
their appurtenances lying and being in Horsell aforesaid and Pirfoord 
in the said County of Surry and all Leases and Term or Terms of years 
which I have therein which are yet to come and unexpired with all 
the Great and Prediall Tythes of Corne graine Hay and wood and 
others my right therein to Remaine and be to the sole use and 
behoofe of my said son George Fenn his Heirs and assignes for ever  
Item all my goods Chattells and Personal Estate not herein before 
given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my said son George 
Fenn whome I doe hereby make Constitute and Ordaine sole 
Executor of this my last will and Testament he paying all my debts 
and Funerall Charges and Expences and I doe hereby Authorise 
nominate and appoint my Kinsman John Fenn of Horsell aforesaid 
and my Brother in Law Richard Meassey of Hampton in the County 
of Middlesex Trustees and Tuterors to my said son John Fenn and to 
receive and take upon the Rents and profitts of all the Lands and 
Tenements hereinbefore given him to and for the only use behoof of 
my said son John Fenn and in his stead to pay unto my said Wife out 
of the said Rents the five pounds a year herein before given her out 
of the same and at such times and in such Order as is hereinbefore 
directed untill my said son John Fenn shall attain unto the age of two 
and twenty years and my will is that when my said son John Fenn 
hath attained unto the age of two and twenty years my Trustees 
shall render unto him a fair account in writing of what moneys they 
have received and how they have disposed of the same and what 
Remaines to returne unto him he paying unto them reasonable 
satisfaction for their pains and trouble in doeing his Business  In 
Witness whereof I the said George Fenn Sen.r have hereunto sett my 
hand and Seale the day and year first above written.
