Memorandum that on or about the Seven and Twentieth day of May 
in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred and Fiftie Six  
William Frith of the parish of Saint Saviour in Southwarke in the 
Countie of Surrey Citizen and Grocer of London deceased beeing 
sick and weake in Body but of sound and good memory did make and 
declare his last Will and Testament Nuncupative or by word of 
Mouth as followeth or to the like effect That is to say hee did will and 
appoint that all his goods whatsoever as well reall as personall 
should bee shared into Foure equall partes  And hee did give and 
bequeath the same unto his foure Children to bee equally divided 
amongst them and hee did constitute and appoint  Mistris Martha 
Foster his Mother in Lawe and Grandmother to his said Children to 
be Executrix of his said Will in Trust for the uses aforesaid  And hee 
the said deceased did utter and declare the words by him therein 
spoken with an intent that they should stand for and bee his last will 
and Testament in the presence and hearing of credible witnesses.

This will Nuncupative was proved at London the Twentieth day of 
June in the yeare of our Lord One thousand Six hundred Fiftie six 
before the Judges for Probate of Wills and granting of 
Administrations lawfully authorised: by the Oath of Martha Foster 
Mother of the deceased and Executrix named in the said Will:  To 
whom administration of all and singular the goods Chattells and 
debts of the said deceased was committed: Shee being first sworne 
truly to Administer the same according to the tenor and effect of the 
said will.
