Three and thirtieth yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord King 
Charles the Second &c Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred 
eightie one  I Henry Allen of the parish of Send in the Countie of 
Surry Miller being sick and weak in bodie, but of sound and perfect 
mynd and memorie Praised be Almightie god for the same, doe 
hereby make ordaine and declare this my last Will and Testam.t in 
maner and forme following (that is to say)  First and principally I 
commend my soul into the hands Almightie God hoping through the 
Merits and Passion of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to be saved 
only, and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the 
discretion of my Executrix hereafter named:  Item I give & bequeath 
unto the Poore of the Parish of Send and Ripley in the Countie of 
Surry Twentie shillings of lawfull money of England, to be payd unto 
them within three months next after my decease: Item I give and 
bequeath unto my Brother George Allen's daughter Rebekah Allen 
Five pounds of lawfull money of England:  Item I give and bequeath 
unto Elizabeth Hall wife of William Hall my Sister Frances Weekes 
daughter Five pounds of lawfull money of England:  Item I give and 
bequeath unto George Slyfeild and Elizabeth Slyfeild Sonn and 
daughter of my Sister Elianor Slyfeild deceased Five pounds apeece 
of lawfull money of England:  Item I give and bequeath unto William 
Bromfeild Henry Bromfield and Anne Bromfeild Sonns and daughter 
of my Sister Margaret Biggs deceased Five pounds of lawfull money 
of England; all which said severall Legacies I doe hereby will and 
desire shall be well and truly payd to the said severall Legatees 
within twelve moneths next after my decease:  Item all the rest of 
my Goods Chattells moneys Bonds Bills Mortgages Specialties  and all 
other assurances for money whatsoever not given nor bequeathed, I 
give and bequeath unto my loving Wife Susanna Allen, whome I 
make and ordaine sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testam.t to 
pay my debts legacies and Funerall expences.  In witness whereof I 
have hereunto set my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above 
written, and hereby revoking all former Wills by me made 
whatsoever:
