In the name of God Amen The Five and twentieth day of October in the Five and thirtieth yeare of the raigne of our Sovraigne Lord King Charles the second by the grace of God King of England &c Annoq Dni 1683 I John Beedon of Woking in the County of Surrey Husbandman being sicke and weake in Body but of sound & perfect memory praysed be Allmighty God for the same Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner & forme following (That is to say) First and principally I commend my soule to Allmighty God my Creator assuredly beleiveing that by the meritts and reconciliation of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my sinnes and be saved; And I bequeath my Body to the Earth to be decent & Christianly buryed according to the discretion of mine Executors and Trustees here after named And as for such Temporall estate as the Lord of his infinite goodness & mercy hath lent unto me I give and bequeath the same as followeth (That is to say) Imp:rs I give and bequeath unto my trusty & loveing Freinds Lionell Rawlins of Woking afforesaid Gent and Richard Lee of Sutton in Woking afforesaid yeoman All my Goods & Chattells Stock & ready money, Utensils, Implements of household and all other whatsoever, For the bringing up of my two Children (that is to say) John Beedon my sonne and Jane Beedon my daughter untill they shall accomplish to their severall ages of Eighteene yeares if the same be sufficient there withall and if that there shall be anything left & remaine in their hands or any others for the said Children when they shall accomplish their said severall ages of Eighteene yeares, that then the same to be equally devided into Three parts and one part thereof shall be paid unto Katherine my now wife, and the other two parts to be and remaine in the hands of the said Lionell Rawlins and Richard Lee for the use of the said John & Jane my two Children but if that either of my said Children shall happen to dye before they shall attaine and be of the said age of Eighteen yeares That then the part of either of them soe dyeing shall be paid to the Survivors either of them at his or her age of One & twenty yeares as afforesaid but if that both of them shall dye that then one part thereof to be paid to the said Katherine my now Wife & the other pt to my Kinsman Thomas Stimson his Exec.rs or admi.rs or Assigns Item I Will and devise that the said Lionell Rawlins and Richard Lee shall well & truly pay the full sume of One hundred and Three score pounds of lawfull money of England unto the said Katherin my now wife within One month next after my decease being for the severall parcons of Sarah Chittey & Richard Chittey the Children of John Chittey late of Woking afforesd yeoman deceased menconed given and bequeathed as in & by his last Will & Testament appeareth, Item I give and bequeath unto the said Katherin my now wife the sume of Twenty shillings yearly & every yeare dureing & untill that John Chittey one of the Children of the said John Chittey deceased shall attaine & be of the age of One and twenty yeares to be paid unto her by even & equall halfe yearly porcons dureing the said tyme & terme from & after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto the said Lionell Rawlins & Richard Lee such reasonable sattisfaction for their Care & Paines as they shall thinke Convenient And I frustrate & make void all former willes by me at any tyme made and done & declare this to be my last Will & Testament here conteyned in these two sheets of paper Fixed together at the upper end thereby In wittnes whereof I have to these two sheetts of paper Conteyning this my present last Will and Testament set my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above in the first sheet written.
