I George Loveland of the Parish of Woking in the County of Surrey Laborer being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same do hereby revoke all Wills Codicils and other Testamentary dispositions made by me at any time heretofore and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament I give and bequeath unto my Wife Hannah Loveland and my Son in law John Howard of the Parish of Pirbright in the said County of Surrey Farmer their executors and administrators All and singular my Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen and China Monies and Securities for Money and all other my personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever To hold the same unto the said Hannah Loveland and John Howard their executors and administrators Upon trust in the first place by with and out of my said personal Estate to pay satisfy and discharge all my just debts and funeral and testamentary Expences And upon trust to permit and suffer my said Wife Hannah Loveland to use enjoy and possess all the Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen and China whereof I shall die possessed for and during the term of her natural life And upon trust that they my said Trustees do and shall (so far as respects the residue of my personal Estate) immediately after my decease call in sell or otherwise convert the same into Money and do and shall stand and be possessed of the Monies to arise therefrom and of my residuary personal Estate subject to the trusts aforesaid Upon trust that they my said Trustees or the survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor do and shall lay out and invest the same in their his or her names or name in the Parliamentary Stocks or Public Funds of Great Britain or at Interest on Government or real Securities in England And do and shall from time to time alter vary and transpose the said Stocks Funds and Securities as to them him or her shall seem reasonable And do and shall stand and be possessed of the said Trust Monies Stocks Funds and Securities and the Interest and Annual Produce thereof Upon trust that they my said trustees or Trustee for the time being do and shall pay the said interest dividends and annual Produce unto or permit the same to be received by my said Wife and her assigns during the term of her natural life for her and their proper use and benefit And from and after the decease of my said Wife I give and bequeath all and singular my Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen China And also the said Trust Monies Stocks Funds and Securities and all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate whatsoever unto and equally to be divided between my Son John Loveland and my Daughter Jane Loveland share and share alike if they shall both be living at the time of the decease of my said Wife But if only one of my said Children John Loveland and Jane Loveland shall be living at the time of the decease of my said Wife then unto such survivor of my said Children John Loveland and Jane Loveland to and for their his or her respective absolute use and benefit But in case both of my said Children shall be dead at the time of the decease of my said Wife then I give and bequeath all and singular my said Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen China And also the said Trust Monies Stocks Funds and Securities and the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate whatsoever unto and equally to be divided between all and every such other of my Children who shall be living at the decease of my said Wife to and for their his or her respective absolute use and benefit And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said Wife Hannah Loveland and my said Son in law John Howard Executrix and Executor of this my Will Provided and my Will is that my said Executrix and Executor and the survivor of them and the executors and administrators of such survivor shall and may at all times reimburse and indemnify themselves herself and himself respectively all such costs charges damages and expences as they or either of them shall be put unto in the execution of this my Will and that neither of them shall be answerable for any loss that may happen unless such loss happen through his her or their wilful neglect or default nor one for the other of them nor for the signing of receipts for the sake of conformity In witness whereof I the said George Loveland the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal the twentieth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty. George Loveland Signed Sealed Published and declared by the above named George Loveland the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto Joseph Hockley Josh Smith This will of George Loveland late of Woking in the County of Surrey Laborer deceased was proved on the twenty second day of December 1843 before the Reverend Henry Ayling Clerk a Surrogate by the Oaths of Hannah Loveland widow the Relict and John Howard the Executors to whom Admon was granted being first sworn duly to administer.
