The last Will and Testament of me Thomas Harbroe of Ripley in the 
Parish of Send in the County of Surry Gentleman In the first place I 
desire to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executor 
hereinafter named  and as to such worldly estate Almighty God hath 
pleased to bless me with I dispose thereof in manner following that 
is to say  Whereas I am possessed of or Intitled unto four hundred 
pounds in the five Per Cent Bank Stock which I purchased and is now 
standing in the Companys Books in my own name as may there now 
fully appear now I do hereby give and bequeath unto my Brother 
Edward Harbroe of Ripley aforesaid Surgeon and Apothecary All 
that my said four hundred pounds Bank Stock In Trust nevertheless 
and to the Intent and Purpose that he my said Brother Edward 
Harbroe his Executors or Admors shall and may from time to time 
have receive and take the Interest and Dividends thereof or 
otherwise be impowered to sell Transfer and dispose of the said 
principal stock if he or they shall think fit and proper and put and 
place out the same upon some other sufficient security or securities 
with full power and authority for him my said Trustee his Executors 
or Administrators to receive and take from time to time the Interest 
and Produce of the said Monies so to be put and placed out at 
Interest as aforesaid and pay and apply the Interest thereof for and 
towards the cloathing of my two Nephews and Niece Edward 
Harbroe John Harbroe and Louisa Harbroe sons and daughters of my 
said Trustee Edward Harbroe until they shall severally and 
respectively attain to his her or their Age of twenty one years then I 
give and bequeath the said Principal Moneys arising from the said 
four hundred pounds Stock unto them the said Edward Harbroe John 
Harbroe and Louisa Harbroe share and share alike  I Also Give and 
Devise unto my said Brother Edward Harbroe All that my Freehold 
Messuage or Tenement Garden Ground and Appurtenances to the 
same belonging or in any wise appertaining situate lying and being in 
the Parish of Rudgwick in the County of Sussex and now in the 
occupation of William Beal or his Assigns In Trust nevertheless and 
to the Intent and Purpose only that he the said Edward Harbroe his 
Executors or Administrators do and shall as soon as conveniently he 
or they can after my decease sell convey and dispose of the said 
Messuage or Tenement with their Appurtenances to the best 
purchaser and for the most Money that can be gotten for the same 
and the Receipt of my said Trustee Edward Harbroe his Executors or 
Administrators to such purchaser for the purchase Money to be paid 
for the same shall be a good and sufficient discharge in Law to a 
purchasor thereof and the neat Moneys arising from the sale of my 
said Freehold Estate I give and bequeath unto my said Nephews and 
Niece Edward Harbroe John Harbroe and Louisa Harbroe equally to 
be divided between them at their said several and respective Ages of 
twenty one years  but in case any or either of my said Nephews and 
Niece Edward Harbroe John Harbroe and Louisa Harbroe shall 
happen to die before his her or their said Ages of twenty one years 
that then the part or share so given to them by my said Will as 
aforesaid shall go to and be paid to the Survivors and Survivor of 
them  All the rest and Residue of my goods chattles and personal 
Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (after payment of my just debts 
Funeral Expenses and charges of proving this my Will I give and 
bequeath unto my said Nephews and Niece Edward Harbroe John 
Harbroe and Louisa Harbroe equally share and share alike in manner 
as aforesaid and I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint 
my said Brother Edward Harbroe full and sole Executor of this my 
said Will and I do hereby revoke make null and void all former or 
other Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made  In Witness 
whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament contained in two 
sheets of Paper set my hand to the first sheet and my hand and Seal 
to this last sheet thereof this seventh day of March In the year of our 
Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety nine.

This Will was proved at London the sixteenth day of April In the year 
of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety nine before the 
Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master 
Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 
lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Edward Harbroe the sole 
Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was 
granted of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the 
deceased having been first sworn by commission duly to Administer.
