In the name of God Amen I Mary Paice of the Parish of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Spinster Daughter and only Child of David Paice late of Woking aforesaid Wheelwright deceased being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following that is to say First I direct all my just Debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expences to be paid and discharged I give and devise unto George Newman of Woking aforesaid Wheelwright All that my Copyhold Cottage or Tenement with the Barn Garden Orchard and Five Acres of Land (more or less) thereto belonging called or known by the name of Ramuich Castle situate lying and being at Heath side in the manor of Wokeing and which I have duly surrendered to the Use of my Will To hold to him the said George Newman his heirs and Assigns forever And in case the said George Newman should die in my Lifetime I give and devise the said copyhold premises unto and equally between all and every the children and child of the said George Newman who shall be living at my decease To hold to them their Heirs and Assigns for ever Also I give and devise unto the said George Newman All that my Copyhold Estate containing one Quarter of an Acre of Land part of the Lands called "Weekis" in Yately in the manor and Hundred of Crondall in the County of Southampton with the Messuage and Buildings with the Appurtenances thereon erected and which I have also duly surrendered to the Use of my Will To hold to him the said George Newman his heirs and Assigns forever And Whereas I have lately contracted for the sale of the said last mentioned Copyhold estate and in case the same should be sold in my Life Time I give and bequeath the money arising from the sale thereof unto the said George Newman to and for his own Use and Benefit And in case the said George Newman should die in my Lifetime I give and devise the said last mentioned copyhold premises or the Money arising from the sale thereof as the case may be unto and equally between all and every the children and child of the said George Newman who shall be living at my decease To hold to them their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns Also I give and bequeath unto John Wilcox of Wokeing aforesaid Wheelwright the sum of Five Pounds to be paid to him within three months after my Decease Also I give and bequeath unto William Wilcox of Wokeing aforesaid Carpenter Son of the said John Wilcox the sum of One Pound to be paid to him within three months after my Decease Also I give and bequeath unto Mary the Wife of Thomas Colborn of Ripley in the said County of Surrey Fishmonger Daughter of the said John Wilcox the sum of One Pound to be paid to her within three months after my Decease All the Rest Residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto the said George Newman to and for his own Use and Benefit And in case the said George Newman should die in my Lifetime I give and bequeath the same unto and equally between all and every the children and child of the said George Newman who shall be living at the Time of my decease their Executors Administrators and Assigns And I nominate and appoint James Collyer of Wokeing aforesaid Yeoman and William Turner of the same place Husbandman Executors and Trustees of this my Last Will and Testament And I declare and direct that if the said James Collyer and William Turner or either of them shall die or refuse or decline to act in the Trusts of this my Will then a new Trustee or Trustees may be appointed by the Trustee or Trustees so declining Avast or the Executors or Administrators of such of them who shall die or in Default thereof by the Executors for the Time being of this my Will And the said Trust of this my Will shall in that case be conveyed transferred and assigned so as to be vested in such new and such surviving or continuing Trustee upon the same Trusts as are herein mentioned And I revoke and make void all former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my only last Will and Testament In Testimony whereof I the said Mary Paice have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the Twelfth day of August In the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifteen. Mary Paice Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Mary Paice the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of Us the subscribers Who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses hereto Ja:s Bogue Attorney at Law Guildford Eliz.th Bogue Wife of the said Ja.s Bogue 9th March 1822 James Collyer the younger of Woking in the County of Surrey yeoman and William Turner of the same place Husbandman appeared and made Oath they were the Executors named and appointed by the within named Testatrix Mary Paice deceased in and by the within will and were duly sworn To execute the within Will according to Law and that The whole of the Goods Chattles rights Credits and Personal Estate of the said Deceased do not amount in value to Twenty Pounds. Testatrix died 9th Febr.y 1822 This Will of Mary Paice late of the Parish of Woking in the County of Surrey Spinster deceased was proved on the nineteenth day of March 1822 before the Reverend James Redman Clerk a Surrogate by the Oaths of James Collyer, and William Turner the Executors To whom Admon was granted being first sworn duly to Admr. DW/PA/5/1822/13
