In the name of God Amen I Mary Inwood of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Widow being inform of Body but of sound Mem praise be given to Almighty God therefore Do make and Ordaine this my present last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God And my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And as touching such Temporal Estate as God hath Blest me with I Give and dispose of the same as followeth First I Give and Bequeath unto my Grandaughter Mary the Daughter of my son Richard Inwood my Feather Bed and Bed Sted with the Curtains Vallens and all the healing to the same belonging and also my Chest of Draws Also all the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattles whatsoever together with all sums of Money which shall appear to be due to me from my Eldest Son John Inwood at the time of my decease I do give and bequeath unto my son Richard Inwood upon this Condition that my said Son Richard Inwood shall first deduct all the Charges that he may be at or I may put him to by reason of my Board Surgery Physics Nursing and Funerall expences and all other charges whatsoever & Upon this further condition also that he my said Son Richard shall and do pay & divide the residue of the Money which he shall or may Receive by virtue of his being Executor to this my Will (if any such there be) to and amongst such of my Grand children as are hereafter Named share and share alike (that is to say) Unto John and Anne the children of my Eldest Son John Inwood And to James and Anne the children of my second Son James Inwood And to Richard Elizabeth and Mary the children of my third Son Richard Inwood And to Mary the Daughter of my Son in Law John Collyer And I will and direct the same to be paid and Equally divided amongst them within Three Months after the Decease of Madam Smith Widow the Mother in Law of my son John Inwood And I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Richard Inwood Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revoking all former Will or Wills by me heretofore made In witness whereof I the said Mary Inwood have to this my present last Will set my Hand and seal the Twenty first day of February In the Twentieth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God King of great Brittain and so forth And in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Six. the mark X of Mary Inwood Widow Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Mary Inwood the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testam.t in the presence of Us the subscribers Who subscribed Our Names as Witnesses hereto in the presence of the said Testatrix and of each other The mark of E Elizabeth Hayward William King Daniel Stevenson This Will of Mary Inwood late of Woking in the County of Surry deceased was proved on the 21 day of May in the Year of Our Lord 1750 (pending Our Annual Visitation) before the Reverend Cornelius Jeale Clerk a Surrogate by the Oath of Richard Inwood the Sole Executor To whom Admn was granted being first sworn duly to Adster.
