Scotland France and Ireland Defender of the Faith &c Annoq Dmi 1684  I 
Elizabeth Brimly widdowe of Thomas Brimly late of Sutton in the pish 
Wokeing in the County of Surrey yeoman dec.d being sick & weake but of 
sound and pfect minde & memory thankes bee to Allmighty God for the same 
Doe make this my last will & Testament in manner & forme followeing (that is 
to say)  First and principally I commend my soule to Allmighty God my Creatour 
& my body to the Earth to bee decently buryed according to the discrecon of 
mine Executors hereafter named  And as for such temporall Estate as the Lord 
of his infinite goodnesse & mercy hath bestowed on mee I give & bequeath the 
same as followeth And First I will and devise that the Legacies given by my late 
husband & now unpaid bee paid by my Executors desireing their Care to see 
the said Legacies employed according to the true intent & meaninge of my said 
Husbands will  Item I give and bequeath to Richard Weston gent & his wife the 
sume of Tenn pounds of lawfull money of England to bee by them disposed of 
according as I shall direct & appoint by a note under my hand  Item I give & 
bequeath to John Weston Esqr & his Lady Twenty shillings apeice for each of 
them a Ring  Item I give & bequeath to Richard Weston gent & his Lady each 
of them Twenty shillings for a Ring  Item I give & bequeath to John Weston 
gent sonne to the said John Weston and to Mrs Anne Weston & Mrs Mary 
Weston daughters to the said John Weston the sume of Three pounds of 
lawfull money of England to bee equally devided amongst them for each of 
them a Ring  Item I give & bequeath to John Weston gent sonne to the said 
Richard Weston and to Mrs Mary Weston and Mrs Anne Weston & Mrs 
Elizabeth Weston & Mrs Frannces Weston daughters to the said Richard 
Weston the full and juste sume of Five pounds of lawfull money of England to 
bee equally devided amongst them for each of them a Ring  Item I give & 
bequeath to Mrs Docorith Twenty shillings for a Ring And after all my Funerall 
charges is paid I doe give & bequeath to my Executors Tenn pounds to bee 
equally devided betweene them  Item I give & bequeath to my kinswoman 
late widdowe to my kinsman John Burkett Five pounds Item I give & bequeath 
to Mrs Elizabeth Clarke Tenn shillings and the trunck that my Fyne Linnen lyes 
in  Item I give & bequeath to Mr George Roe Twenty shillings  Item I give & 
bequeath to my servant Sarah Loveland Twenty shillings and my best 
pettycoat  Item I give & bequeath to sixe of Mr Richard Westons servants 
Thirty shillings to bee equally devided betweene them  Item I give & bequeath 
to Mrs Elizabeth Twisdon Mrs Roe Mrs Frannces Parkinson & Mrs Katherin 
Parkinson the sume of Twenty shillings to bee equally devided amongst them  
Item I give & bequeath to Anne Pescod Twenty shillings  Item I give & 
bequeath to the said Richard Weston the Feather Bedd I ly on with all that 
belongs to itt which is a Bolster Sixe pillowes three Blanketts Twoe Ruggs a 
Large Coverlides with the Curtaines Vallence Backrester & Bedsteddle  I alsoe 
give & bequeath to the said Richard Weston a pie of Course sheetes and Twoe 
Course Table Clothes and all my Bookes and a brasse warminge pann a brasse 
kettle & twoe little skilletts  Item I give & bequeath to John Burkett my silver 
Cupp  Item I give & bequeath to Thomas Burkett my silver spoone  And I give & 
bequeath to the said John Burkett and Thomas Burkett Twoe Dozen & Eight 
Flaxen Napkins, Fower flaxen table cloths fower pie of sheetes twoe paire of 
them fine & Twoe course Seaven pewter dishes Twoe Butterdishes a pewter 
Bason a Salt and a Candlestick to bee equally devided betweene them by my 
Executors And it is my intent they shall remaine in my Executors hands till the 
said John Burkett & Thomas Burkett attaine their severall ages of One & 
Twenty yeares  Item I give & bequeath more to the said Mary Weston 
daughter to the said Richard Weston a paire of Flaxon pillowcoates a diaper 
Towell and a diap Napkinn Item I give & bequeath to Mrs Clarke of Stoke a 
paire of fine Flaxen sheetes and a greate Brasse skillett  Item I give & bequeath 
to Elizabeth Stoughton the wife of George Stoughton a paire of flaxen 
pillowcoates Item I give & bequeath to Goodwife Chooning the elder my redd 
Cloth coate and sadd coloured wastcoate  Item I give & bequeath to Goodwife 
Heath my hatt  All the rest of my goods & chattells whatsoever not herein 
bequeathed I give & bequeath to the said Richard Weston of Sutton aforesaid 
and to Richard Lee of Sutton in the pish of Wokeing aforesaid whome I make 
and ordayne Executors of this my last will and testament And I frustrate and 
make void all willes & Testaments formerly by mee att any time or times made 
or done and I declare this to be my last Will & Testam.t only  In witnes whereof 
I to this my last will conteyned in twoe sheetes of paper I have to each sheete 
sett my hand & to both of them affixed my seale the day & yeare first above 
written.
