In the Name of God Amen I Mary Knapp Widow 
and Relict of George Knapp late of Morden in the 
County of Surry Clerk deceased considering the 
Uncertainty of Life do make this my last Will and 
Testament in manner following First I commit my 
Soul to Almighty God for Salvation through Jesus 
Christ our Lord and my Body I desire may be 
interred in such private and decent Manner as my 
Executrix hereinafter named shall think fit and as for 
my worldly Estate (or Money) I Give the same as 
follows (that is to say) I Give to my Son George 
Knapp Ten Pounds for Mourning and I Give to my 
Son Henry Knapp Ten Pounds each for Mourning All 
the Rest and Residue of my Estate whatsoever I Give 
to my Two Daughters Lucy Knapp and Mary 
Knapp to be equally divided between them Share 
and Share alike and of this my Will I do make my 
Daughter Lucy Knapp whole Executrix of  this my 
last Will and Testament In Witness Whereof set my 
hand and seal the 17 day of February in the First 
year of the Reign of King George the third and in the 
Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and 
sixty one Mary Knapp
