Surry Widdow of Edward Buckland Waterman 
Deceased being weake in Body through Infirmity of 
Years as alsoe I thanke the Lord of present sense and 
Memory having thought fitt to make firme and confirme 
this my last Will and Testament In forme and manner 
following that is to say First I give and bequeath my 
Soul into the hands of Almighty God as into the hands 
of a faithfull and mercifull Creator by whose Merritts I 
hope to enjoy everlasting peace and felicity in the 
blessed Kingdom of my Father when he pleases to take 
me to his mercy I give and bequeath my Goods and 
temporall Estate in forme and manner following that is 
to say I give to my Daughter Anne Banks five 
pounds in lawfull money of England Two paire of 
Sheets one paire marked with A: T One table Cloath 
marked with A: T One Holland Pillowbeer four Napkins 
One Quart Pott I give to my Daughter Jane Pressey 
tenn Shillings in lawfull money of England I give to my 
Grand Children Edward Bankes and Ann Bankes 
and Robert Bankes and Daniell Bankes and Easther 
Bankes and Jane Bankes and William Bankes tenn 
Shillings each in lawfull money of England I give to 
John Farely tenn Shillings in lawfull money of England 
as alsoe I doe nominate and appoint my Daughter 
Ann Johnson sole Executrix of this my last Will and 
Testament to take what is left when the abovenamed 
Legacyes are paid and to give me a decent Buriall 
whereunto I have sett my hand and Seale this 
seaventeenth Day of Aprill 1704 In the third yeare of 
the Reigne of Queen Anne the mark of Ann Buckland 
signed published and declared in the presence of us
