In the name of God Amen the Twelfth day of January in the Seaven & Twentyeth yeare of the raigne of our Sovraigne Lord King Charles the second &c Annoq Dni 1675 I Thomas Stimson the elder of Woking in the County of Surrey Yeoman being weake in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to almighty God for the same Doe make my last Will & Testament in manner & forme following (that is to say) First & principally I commend my Soule to almighty God my Creator and my body to the Earth to be buryed in decent and Xpian manner according to the discretion of my Executor herafter named (And as for such temporall estate as the Lord of his mercy and goodness hath lent unto me, it is my Will and meaning that the same shall be bestwowed as followeth (that is to say) Item I give and bequeath unto my loveing Daughter Jane Field (the relict of John Field late of Woking aforesaid Fishmonger deceased) the full and just sume of Two hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be payd to her or her Exec.rs Admi.rs or Assignes within Twelve monthes next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto Jane Field my Grandchild the full and just sume of Six hundred pounds of of lawfull money of England, Item I give and bequeath unto James Field my Grandchild the full and just sume of Two hundred pounds of of lawfull money of England which said severall and respective sumes to my said Grandchildren bequeathed I will that the same to be payd to the said Jane Field my daughter (Mother of the said Children) within Twelve monthes next after my decease to be by her bestowed or imployed to and for the use and benefit of my said Grandchildren, And I will that the said Jane Field my daughter shall give and Seale Releases to myne Executor or his Exec.rs or Assignes upon and for the receipt of all their severall and repective Legacies by this my said last Will and Testament menconed to be given and bequeathed to the said Jane Field my daughter and my said Grandchildren, And it is my Will and meaning that if the said Jane Field and James Field my said Grandchildren or either of them shall happen to die or depart this life before that they shall attaine to their sevrall ages of One and twenty yeares leaveing no Issue of their Bodyes lawfully begotten That then the said sevrall sumes of lawfull money of England bequeathed to my said Grandchildren or either of them wch shall depart this life as afforesaid wth the Interest thereof shall be and inure to the use of the said Jane Field my daughter and her heires Exec.rs and Admi.rs for ever Item I give and bequeath unto my Godson Thomas Synacle the sume of Five pounds of lawfull money of England Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Stimson Edward Stimson Daniell Stimson James Stimson and Katherin (the sonnes and daughter of my late Brother John Stimson deceased) to every one of them sevrally the sume of Five pounds of lawfull money of England Item I give and bequeath unto the Daughter of Marke Stimson my late brother deceased (I cannot tell her name) the sume of Five pounds of the like lawfull money of England Item I give and bequeath unto John Bedden (a Sisters sonne of mine (deceased) the sume of Five pounds of lawfull money of England Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Roydon (the daughter of Mary my sister deceased) the sume of Five pounds of lawfull money of England Item I give and bequeath to Mary Lamboll (the daughter of Margaret my sister deceased) the sume of Five pounds of the like lawfull money of England, And I will that the said Sevrall Legacyes or sume of lawfull money of England afforementioned given and bequeathed shall be paid within Twelve monthes next after my decease Item I give and bequeath to the poore of the Tything of Towne Street in Woking afforesaid the sume of Twenty shillings of lawfull money of England Item all the rest of my Goods and Chattells whatsoever are yet unbequeathed I give and bequeath unto my loveing sonne Nicholas Stimson whom I make and ordaine Executor of this my last Will and Testament And he to pay all my debts Legacies and Funerall charges And I desire my trusty and loveing Friends (that is to say) William Sherrett of Crastock in Woking afforesaid yeoman And Jonathan Waterer of Woking afforesaid Sawyer to be Oversears of this my last Will and Testament And I give to each of them for their trouble & Care therein & thereby the sume of Ten Shillings of lawfull money of England And I declare this to be my last Will and Testament only In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and yeare first above written.
