In the name of God Amen The Three & twentieth day of February in 
ye Seaventh yeare of the Raigne of our Sovraign Lord George by the 
Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defender of the 
Faith &r Annoq dni 1724  I Ann Bird of Wokeing in the County of 
Surry widdow being Anncient but of sound minde memory & 
understanding doe make & declare this to bee my last will and 
testam.t in Manner & forme following (that is to say)  Imprimis I give 
and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Roydon wife of Robert Roydon 
gent the sume of Twenty pounds to bee paid unto her own hands 
separate distinct & apart from her said husband by my Executor 
hereafter named within six months after my decease  Item I give and 
bequeath unto my Grandaughter Ann Harcroft ye wife of Richard 
Harcroft of Send in ye said County of Surry Tanner the sume of 
Twenty pounds of like lawfull money to bee paid unto her own hands 
separate distinct & apart from her said husband by my said Executor 
hereafter named within six months after my decease  Item I give and 
bequeath unto my said Grandaughter Ann Harcroft my silver 
Dauchard Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandaughters 
Catherine, Martha & Sarah the daughters of my son Richard Bird 
five pounds likewise to bee paid them wthin three months after my 
decease And in case either of my said Grandaughters Catherine, 
Martha & Sarah Bird shall happen to dye before their legacyes shall 
bee paid Then the Legacyes of her or them soe dyeing shall bee paid 
to ye survivor.  Item I give unto my daughter Ann Roydon & to my 
Grandaughter Ann Harcroft all my Wearing Apparell both Linnen & 
Woollen & all other my goods & Chattles whatsoever equally to bee 
devided betweene them share and share alike  Item I give & devise 
unto my Grandaughter Sarah Roydon five pounds to bee paid within 
six months of my decease by my Executor  And I doe hereby 
Constitute & appoint my son Richard Bird sole Executor of this my 
last will to whome after my debts & legacyes paid & my Funerall 
expences discharged I give all the rest & residue of my reall & 
personall Estate whatsoever  In Witness whereof to this my last Will 
& testm.t I have hereunto set my hand & Seale the day & yeare first 
above written  The marke A B of Ann Bird
Signed Sealed published & declared by the said Ann Bird to bee her 
last Will and Testam.t in the presence of us
