In the name of God Amen The Sixteenth Day of July Annoq Dni 1720  
and in the Sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George 
over Great Brittain &r  I John Collyer Jun.r of Horsell in the County of 
Surrey yeoman being of good and perfect health and memory praise 
be Given to God therefore And calling to mind the uncertainty of this 
Transitory life here on Earth doe make Ordain this my last Will and 
Testament in Manner and form  Revoking and annulling all former 
and other Will or Wills by me heretofore made and this to be taken 
for my last Will and Testament and no other (That is to say) First and 
principally I commend and bequeath my soul into the hands of 
Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer hoping by the 
Reconciliation of Christ Jesus to be saved and my Body to the Earth 
from whence it came to be buried in such decent manner as it shall 
please my Executor hereafter named to appoint and as Touching 
such Temporall Estate as the Lord far above my defects hath 
bestowed upon me my Will and meaning is the same shall be 
employed and bestowed as hereafter in and by this my Will is 
Expressed  Imprimis I give and bequeath to the poor of the parish of 
Horsell Fourty shillings   I give and bequeath unto my Loveing 
Mother Ann Collyer Ten pounds  I give and bequeath unto my Aunt 
Ann Bedford forty shillings  Item I give and bequeath unto my 
Couzen Ann Bedford Twenty shillings  Item I give and bequeath unto 
my Cosen James Bedford Ten pounds  Item my Will and meaning is 
that all these Legacies herein before given shall be paid by my 
Executor hereafter named within three months next after my 
decease  Item I give and bequeath unto my Brothers in Law George 
Fenn and John Fenn Fifty pounds a peece to be payd by my Executor 
hereafter named Immediately after the deceases of my Father in 
Law George Fenn and Mary his Wife  Item I give and bequeath unto 
my Cousen James Collyer Son of my Brother James Collyer deceased 
the summe of Three Hundred and Fifty pounds to be payd by my 
Executor hereafter named so soon as he my said couzen James shall 
attain unto the age of One and Twenty years  payd by my Executor 
hereafter named  I give Devise and Bequeath unto my Brother 
William Collyer all that my Messuage & all other Buildings thereunto 
Belonging with all my Freehold and Leasehold land with all the great 
and prediall Tythes and all other the appurtenances thereunto 
belonging Lying and being within the Parish of Horsell aforesaid  I 
also give Devise and bequeath unto my said Brother William Collyer 
all that my Messuage called Copthall and two other Tenements 
Thereunto belonging Also one Tenement Now in the occupation of 
William Bartholomew which said Messuage & Tenements are situate 
lying and being in the parish of Laleham in the County of Middlesex 
all which said Messuages Tenements Lands and Tythes I give Devise 
and Bequeath as aforesaid unto my said Brother William Collyer his 
heirs and assigns forever he paying out of all my said Messuages 
Tenements and lands all the Legacies herein before Given and I doe 
hereby Charge all my said Messuages Tenements and lands with the 
true payment thereof  Item I also give and Bequeath unto my said 
Brother William Collyer all my Goods Chattells Cattells ready money 
and Depts whom I doe make and ordaine Sole Executor of this my 
last Will and Testament he paying all my Debts and Funerall 
Expences and I do desire my Two loveing Kinsmen Henry Edmed and 
John Collyer Sen.r to be Overseers of this my last Will and Testament 
and to see the same performed  In Witness whereof I have hereunto 
sett my hand and Seal the Day and Year first above written. John
