In the name of God Amen The Three and twentyeth day of October 
in the Foure & Thirtyeth yeare of the reigne of our Soverigne Lord 
King Charles the Second by the Grace of God King of England &c 
Anno Domid 1682  I Richard Lee the younger of Woking in the 
County of Surrey yeoman being very sick & Weake in Body but of 
sound & perfect mind and memory praysed be Allmighty God for the 
same  Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and 
forme following (That is to say) First & principally I Comend my Soule 
to Allmighty God my Creator Assuredly believing that by the Meritts 
and reconciliation of my blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ I shall 
receive full pdon & free remission of all my sinnes and be saved And I 
bequeath my Body to the Earth to be decent and X.pianly buryed 
according to the discretion of mine Executrix hereafter named And 
as for such Temporall Estate as the Lord of his infinite goodness & 
mercy hath lent unto me I give and bequeath thereof as followeth 
Impr.s I give and bequeath unto Mary my now Wife all the Rents & 
proffitts ariseing or acrueing out of & from my Coppyhold Messuage 
or Tenemt & Lands thereunto belonging with the appurtenances 
situate lying & being in Hale end in Woking afforesaid For dureing 
and untill that Richard Lee my sonne shall attaine to his age of 
Foureteene yeares, For and towards his maintenance Educacon and 
bringing up untill he attaine to his said age of Foureteene years  And 
alsoe for the payment by her of all that portion or sume of One 
hundred pounds of lawfull money of England unto my Sister Mary 
Lee when she shall attaine to her age of Five & twenty yeares in full 
of all that portion or sume to be paid unto her out of the said 
Coppyhold Messuage & Lands before menconed as appeareth in and 
by the surrender of John Lee my late Father deceased, And alsoe 
that the said Mary my Wife shall pay unto my Brother in Law Richard 
Hyat of London Butcher all that sume of One hundred pounds of 
lawfull money of England for the surety whereof to him he hath part 
pt of my Coppyhold lands in Woking afforesd surrendered to him and 
his heires, which said sume of One hundred pounds I will to be paid 
within Three moneths next after my decease  And alsoe I will & 
devise that the said Mary my Wife shall pay unto John Bullen my 
Brother in Law all that sume of One hundred pounds of lawfull 
money of England which will become Due and payable upon the 
Thirtyeth day of November next ensueing as appeareth in and by the 
Condicon of a Bond or Obligation to the said John Bullen Dated the 
Thirtyeth Day of May last past to be paid unto him wthin Three 
months next after the same shall become due and payable as by the 
said Bond appeareth  Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Anne 
Bullen the wife of the said John Bullen the summe of Tenn pounds of 
lawfull money of England to be paid unto her within Two yeares next 
after my decease  Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Lee my sister 
the sume of Fifteen pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid 
unto her wthin Three yeares next after my decease  Item I give and 
bequeath unto Nicholas Mathers of Horsell in the County of Surrey 
afforesd the sume of Forty shillings of lawfull money of England   
Item I give and bequeath unto my two Man Servants (that is to say) 
Henry Heather & John Bullen to each of them severally the sume of 
Twenty shillings of lawfull money of England  Item I give and 
bequeath unto my Maid Servant Anne Crouchfield and alsoe to 
Anne Crouchfield her Mother to each of them the sume of Fifteen 
shillings of lawfull money of England  Item I give and bequeath unto 
Mr John Merest Vicar of Woking afforesaid the sume of Fifty 
shillings of lawfull money of England  Item I give and bequeath unto 
Samuell Heath Rish Clarke of Woking afforesaid the sume of Twenty 
shillings of lawfull money of England  Item I give and bequeath unto 
my Aunt Mary Lee and alsoe to my Couzen Richard Lee of Sutton in 
Woking afforesaid and alsoe to Katherine his Wife and alsoe to my 
Brother John Lee and alsoe to my two sisters Anne Bullen and Mary 
Lee Tenn shillings to buy each of them a Ringe to wear at my 
Funerall, All the other Legacies before menconed not allready 
expressed when to be paid I will that they are severally & 
respectively paid by mine Executrix within Six moneths next after my 
decease  Item I give and bequeath unto my Tenant Richard Merryott 
of Woking afforesaid an sume of Five Pounds of lawfull money of 
England to be paid or abated to him by my sd Ex.trix out of his next 
yeares Rent wch will be due to be paid at Michaellmass Anno Dni 
1683  Item I give and bequeath unto the poor of the pish of Woking 
afforesaid, to be paid by my sd Ex.trix to the Overseers of this my 
prsent last Will & Testament  And by them to be distributed 
according to their discrecon amongst the said poore the sume of 
Fifty shillings of lawfull money of England  Item all the rest of my 
Goods & Chattells ready moneyes Billes Bonds & all other Assurances 
for money I give and bequeath unto the said Mary my dear & Loveing 
Wife whom I make the Sole Executrix of this my said last Will and 
Testament she paying of my Debts & Legacies & Funerall charges 
which on her yet are & ought to be done & pformed, And I desire my 
trusty and loveing Friends (that is to say) my Couzen Richard Lee of 
Sutton afforesaid and William Hayward of Woking afforesaid to be 
Overseers of this my prsent last Will & Testamt And I frustrate and 
make void all Wills & Testamts formerly by me at any tyme made & 
done and I declare this to be my last Will and Testament only  In 
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale the day and
