In the name of God Amen The tenth day of May in the Fourth year of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lady Queen Anne over England &r Annoq Dom.i 1704 I Edward Honer of Goldworth in the parish of Wokeing in the County of Surrey yeoman being in good bodily health but of sound and perfect mind and remembrance praise be given to Almighty god for the same do hereby constitute make ordaine and declare this my last Will and testament in manner and forme following That is to say First and before all other things: I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it hoping by ye death and merrit of his dearly beloved son Jesus Christ my saviour to have pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and my body I comit it to ye Earth to be decently buried according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister in law Jane Honer of Woking aforesaid within ye said County widow: all that messuage or tenement barns and outhouses and building thereunto belonging and also those five several closes of land thereunto belonging containing by estimation Eight acres be they more or less sittuate lying and being in Woking aforesaid within the said County and allso all that parcell of Meadow ground lying in Woking broad mead in the parish of Send within the said County containing by estimation three Rodmeales more or less with their and every of their appurtenanc unto the sd Jane Honer untill Edward Honer her son shall attaine unto the age of four and twenty years in case she keep her self a widow but in case the said Jane Honer shall marry before the said Edward Honer her son shall be of the age of four and twenty that then and in such case I will and give the said Messuage lands and premises with the appurtenanc unto the said Edward Honer my Cousin and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever provided always nevertheless and upon this condition that they the said Jane Honer widow or Edward Honer her son and his heirs according to the severall and respective estate in ye p.mises herby vested in ym shall from time to time raise and pay out of the rents and profits of the premises with the Timber which shall be hereafter mentioned to be sould towards the payment of the severall summs of money hereafter named in manner and form following That is to say unto my Cousin Elizabeth Honer daughter of my brother Thomas Honer the summ of Eight pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid her at ye end of one year next after my decease and unto my Cousin and Goddaughter Mary Honer daughter of my said brother Thomas Honer the summ of Twelve pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid her at ye end of Two years next after my decease and unto my Cousin Anne Marrisan daughter of my sister Anne Honer the summ of Ten pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid her at the end of Two years next after my decease and unto my Cousin Sarah Honer and Clementin Honer and Rebecca Honer daughters of my said brother Thomas Honer the summ of eight pounds a piece of good and lawfull money of England to be paid them within or at the end of Three years next after my decease now my Will and meaning is that the said Jane Honer widow or Edward Honer her son shall sel and cut down fourty of ye best Timber trees and no more toward the payment of the aforesaid Legacies but in case the said Jane Honer and Edward her son and his Heirs or either of them shall refuse or neglect to pay the sd severall summes of money above mentioned to the severall and respective persons Legacies above said at ye days and times aforesaid in manner and form as aforesaid Then I will and give the said messuage or tenement Lands and Premises aforesaid with the appurtenanc unto my said brother Thomas Honer and his heirs for the raising and payment thereof in such manner as should have been done by the said Jane Honer and Edward Honer her son and his heirs in manner and forme as aforesaid and during such time only as the same can be raised and paid and no longer Item I will and give unto my said brother Thomas Honer the sum of Ten shillings of good and lawfull money of England to be paid him at the end of three months next after my decease Item I will and give unto my Cousin Edward Honer one Cubbord one Table and two brass pots two bras kittles and a neading trough Item all the rest of my goods and Chattels not yet given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my sister in law Jane Honer whome I make sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament To pay my debts Legacies and Funerall Expense In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and yeare first above writen: Edward Honer his E H mark Signed Sealed Published and declared by the above named Edward Honer Sen.r for & as his last Will and Testament in ye presence of John Hollis Jonathan Davey his J mark Chra Eells Probatum Decimo quarto Junii Anno Dmi 1707 ... dw/pa/5/1707/15
