In the name of God Amen the Five and twentyeth day of May in the one and thirtyeth yeare of the raigne of our Sovraigne King Charles the second &s Annoq Dni 1679 I George Davey of Woking in the Countye of Surrey Wheelwright being sick and weake in body but of sound and perfect memory Praysed be Almighty God for the same Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (That is to say) First and principally I commend my soule to Almighty God my Creator assuredly believing that by the meritts and reconciliation of my blessed Lord and saviour Jesus Christ I shall receive full pardon and free remission of my sinnes and be saved And I bequeath my body to the Earth to be buryed in decent and christian manner according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And as touching such temporall estate as the Lord in mercy hathlent unto me it is my Will and meaning that the same shall be bestowed as followeth (that is to say) Item I give and bequeath unto Mary my Wife all that my Messuage or Tenement with all outhouses Barnes Edifices Gardens and Curtilages to the same Messuage or Tenement belonging or adjoyning conteyning by estimacon Two acres be it more or less situate lying and being in the pish of Send in the County of Surrey aforesaid To have and to hold to the said Mary my Wife for and dureing the terme of her naturall life and after her decease then the said Messuage or Tenement and premises with the lands before menconed to be to George Davey my sonne and his heires for ever Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Davey my daughter the sume of Three score pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to the said Mary Davey my daughter or to her assignes by the said George Davey my sonne his heires or assignes out of the said Messuage or Tenement and ye Lands & premisses before menconed whtin Six monthes next after my the decease of of the said Mary Wife And it is my Will and meaning that if the said George Davey my sonne or his heires shall neglect or refuse to pay the said sume of Three score pounds soe given and bequeathed to the said Mary my daughter wthin six months as aforesaid That then the said Mary my daughter or her assignes shall enter upon the said Messuage or Tenement and Lands before menconed and the proffitts thereof shall service wthhold and keep until that she or they shall be fully satisfyed and paid And it is further my Will and meaning that the said Mary my Wife shall wthhold and keep the said Messuage or Tenement wth the Barne and all other the outhouses and Buildings thereunto belonging in good repaire dureing the terme of her naturall life Item I give and bequeath unto the said Mary my wife for and dureing the terme of her naturall life All my otherFreehold lands lying and being in Send aforesaid conteyning by estimacon Eleaven Acres be it more or lesse as it is now Devided into severall pcells (That is to say) twp parcells thereof by estimacon Five acres called by the name of Lambe Croft and alsoe that one pcell by estimacon two acres & halfe be it more or lesse called the little Croft and alsoe one pcell of Land called Tanners Brooke by estimacon Three acres and half be it more or lesse Item I give and bequeath unto John Davey my sonne and his heires All that my said other Freehold lands by estimacon Eleaven acres devided and called by the severall names afforemenconed To have and to hold after the decease of the said Mary my Wife Item I give and bequeath moreover to the said Mary my daughter the sume of Forty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to the said Mary my daughter or her assignes the the said John Davey my sonne or his heires or assignes within six monthes next after the decease of the said Mary my Wife out of the said Freehold lands before menconed given and bequeathed unto the said John Davey my sonnes and his heires And it is my Will and meaning that if the said John Davey my sonne or his heires shall neglect or refuse to pay the said sume of Forty pounds to the said Mary my daughter wthin six months next after the decease of the said Mary my Wife That then the said Mary my daughter or her assignes shall enter upon the said Lands and every part thereof and the proffitts thereof shall service wthhold and keep until that she or they shall be fully satisfyed and paid Item I give and bequeath unto my said two sonnes (that is to say) George Davey and John Davey to each of them the sume of Forty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to each of them severally or to their assignes by my said Executrix when as they shall attaine to their severall ages of One and Twenty years And it is my Will and meaning that if either of my sonnes shall happen to dye before he shall attaine to his age of One and Twenty years that then the sume of Forty pounds shall be paid by my said xecutrix to the said Mary Davey my daughter or her Executors or admors or assigns at her age of One and twenty years Item I give and bequeath moreover unto the said Mary Davey my daughter the sume of Twenty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to the said Mary my daughter or to her assigns when she shall arrive to he rfull age of One and Twenty years Item all the rest of my Goods and Chattells whatsoever and yet eunbequeathed I give and bequeath she paying of my Debts and Legacyes here before menconed given and bequeathed unto my said two sonnes and amy said daughter (that is to say) George Davey John Davey and Mary Davey conteyning in the whole by estymacon One hundred pounds of lawfull money of England and alsoe my Funerall charges And I desire my trusty and loveing freinds William Sherrett of Crastocke in Woking yeoman and William Collyer of Woking afforesaid yeoman to be overseers of this my last Will and Testament and I frustrate and make void all wills formerly by me at any time by me made and done and declare this to be my last Will and Testament only In Wittnesse whereof I have hereunto this my last Will and Testament conteyning Two sheets of paper fixed together set my hand to each of the said sheets and my Seale to the last of the said sheets conteyning this my present Will the day and
