This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Hunt of the parish of Wokeing in the County of Surrey yeoman who am of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding First I commend my soul into the Hands of Almighty God who gave it and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently and frugally interred at the discretion of my dear and beloved wife Elizabeth And as to all my worldly Estate whatsoever and wheresoever wherewith it may please God to bless me being all personal I give and bequeath the same after payment of my funeral Expences the expence of proving this my will and all my just debts as hereinafter is mentioned that is to say I give and bequeath unto my said dear Wife Elizabeth All my Household Goods Linen and Earthen Ware to and for her own use and benefit And I give and bequeath all my monies Securities for money and all and singular the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattles personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Brother in Law James Smith of High Billingshurst Farm in the Parish of Bramley in the County of Surrey Farmer and my Friend Joseph Reading of Wokeing aforesaid Shopkeeper and the survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such survivor Upon Trust to sell and dispose of collect and get in the same and to put and place out the money arising thereby and therefrom on such Security or Securities at Interest in the names of them the said James Smith and Joseph Reading or the survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such survivor as they in their discretion shall think proper Upon the Trusts that they do and shall apply the Interest of the said Securities And also such part and parts or the whole of the principal Trust monies from time to time as they in their discretion shall think proper for the maintenance and cloathing of my said Wife and the maintenance clothing Education and bringing up of such of my Children as shall be under the age of twenty one years And when my said youngest Child shall have attained the age of twenty one years Upon Trust to pay the Residue of the said principal Trust monies that may then be remaining in my said Trustees Hands if any unto my said dear Wife if she shall be then living to and for her own use and benefit but if my said Wife shall be then dead Then upon Trust to pay the same equally unto and amongst all my said Children that may be then living share and share alike And I nominate constitute and appoint the said James Smith and Joseph Reading Executors of this my Will Provided always and my will is that my said Trustees and Executors hereinbefore named and the Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such survivor shall and may at all times in the first place reimburse and indemnify themselves and himself respectively out of the said Trust premises respectively all such Costs Charges Damages and Expences as they or either of them shall or may at any time expend lay out and be put unto for or by reason or means of all any or either of the Trusts hereby in them reposed And that neither of them shall be answerable for any loss which may happen to any of the said Trust premises unless such loss happen through his or their wilful neglect or Default nor one for the other or others of them nor for more monies than shall actually come to each of their Hands respectively but each of them for his and their own Acts Deeds receipts neglects and defaults only nor for any loss which shall or may happen by occasion of depositing any money in the hands keeping or Custody of any public or Common Banker And I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare these presents only to be and contain my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Richard Hunt the testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Eighth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seven Rich.d Hunt Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Richard Hunt the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses Robert Donald Joseph Hockley 12th September 1807 James Smith and Joseph Reading the Executors named in this Will of Richard Hunt the Testator deceased were duly sworn to Execute the same according to Law and that the whole Goods Chattles Rights Credits and Personal Estate of the said Testator do not amount in value to the sum of Two hundred pounds This Will of Richard Hunt late of the Parish of Woking in the County of Surry deceased was proved on the 16th Day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & seven before the Reverend Thomas Russell Clerk a Surrogate by the Oaths of James Smith & joseph Reading the Executors herein named to whom Admon was granted they having been first sworn duly to Administer. dw/pa/5/1807/14
