This is the last Will and Testament of me Isaac Foster of Knapphill in the parish of Woking in the County of Surrey Gentleman who am weak in body but of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding First I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently and frugally interred at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named And as to all my Worldly Estate I give and dispose thereof as followeth In the first place I direct the payment of all my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences by my Executors hereinafter named I give and devise unto my Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of William Chandler of Bisley in the said County of Surrey Farmer All that my copyhold or Customary Messuage or Tenement buildings Garden and land with the appurtenances now in my own occupation which I purchased of and from John Hall situate lying and being within and held of the Manor of Woking in the said County of Surrey To hold the same Unto and to the use of my said Daughter Elizabeth and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life And from and immediately after the decease of my said Daughter Elizabeth I give and bequeath the said copyhold or Customary Messuage or Tenement buildings Garden land and hereditaments with the appurtenances unto the said William Chandler To hold the same Unto and to the use of the said William Chandler and his assigns for and during the term of his natural life and from and immediately after the decease of the survivor of them the said William Chandler and Elizabeth his Wife I give devise and bequeath the same Messuage or Tenement buildings Garden land and hereditaments with the appurtenances unto my Grandson William Chandler son of the said William Chandler and Elizabeth his Wife To hold the same Unto and to the use of my said Grandson William Chandler his heirs and assigns for ever I give and bequeath unto George Warner of Bisley in the County of Surrey Nurseryman the Sum of Fifty pounds of lawful Money of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland of English value and currency to and for his own use and benefit to be paid to him by my Executors hereinafter named at the end of Twelve Months next after my decease And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Freehold Copyhold and Leasehold Messuages lands tenements and hereditaments and real and personal Estates and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same unto my said Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of the said William Chandler To have and to hold the same unto and to the Use of my said Daughter Elizabeth her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever according to the respective natures tenures and qualities thereof respectively to and for her and their own absolute use and benefit And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Friend James Turner of Knapphill in the parish of Woking aforesaid Gentleman and my said Son in law William Chandler Executors of this my last Will and Testament And Do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And do declare these presents only to be and contain my last Will and Testament And I declare that neither of my Executors shall be answerable for the default of the others In witness whereof I the said Isaac Foster the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty third day of October One thousand eight hundred and nineteen the mark + of Isaac Foster Signed sealed published and Declared by the said Isaac Foster the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto William Woods Knaphill Horsell Surrey Farmer William Hall Knaphill Woking Surry Nurseryman James Hone Jun.r Woking Sury William Chandler the Executor named in the above Will who hath survived James Turner the other Executor thereof was duly sworn to the truth and faithful performance of the same and as usual and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the Sum of two hundred Pounds and that the deceased died on or about the seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and nineteen Before me Henry Parr Beloe, Rector of Guildford Surrey, Surrogate This will of Isaac Foster late of Knapphill in the Parish of Woking in the County of Surrey Gentleman deceased was proved in the fourth day of November 1835 before the Reverend Henry Parr Beloe Clerk Surrogate by the Oath of William Chandler the surviving Executor to whom admon was granted being first sworn duly to administer dw/pa/5/1835/012/01
