In the Name of God Amen I Anne Roake of Horsell in the County of Surrey Spinster do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following first I Give and bequeath unto my Brother John Roake the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain I also give unto my Nephew Richard Roake son of my Brother Richard Roake deceased the sum of five pounds of like lawful money both which said Legacies I will and order to be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named within six Months after my decease I Give and devise unto my Sister Margaret Roake her heirs and Assigns all that my part or share parts or shares of that Messuage or Tenement Farm Lands Tythes and hereditaments thereof part whereof I purchased of my Brother Richard Roake deceased the other part thereof came to me by the last will of my Father Henry Roake deceased all which was purchased by him of Henry Wapshott and Henry Collyer and others and are situated lying and being within the said parish of Horsell and the parish of Woking containing by estimation Ninety Acres or thereabouts now in the occupation of Henry Knowls together with all other my real Estate whatsoever or wheresoever wherein I have any disposing power to hold to her my said Sister Margaret Roake her heirs and Assigns for ever I also Give unto my said Sister Margaret Roake all my personal Estate wearing apparel money securities for money goods and chattels whatsoever or wheresoever her paying my Legacies as aforesaid just debts and Funeral expences and I do hereby nominate and appoint her my said Sister Margaret Roake Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other wills by me heretofore made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the twelfth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty four _ Anne Roake _ Signed Sealed published and declared by the above named Anne Roake the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names hereto as Witnesses Rich.d Smith _ Henry Knowls _ John Knowls. This Will was proved at London the twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty nine before the Right Worshipful Sir William Wynn Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Margaret Roake Spinster the Sister of the deceased and sole Executrix named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the deceased having been first sworn by commission duly to administer.
