In the Name of God Amen Ye The Eighth day of September in the One and Twentieth yeare of the Raiyne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the Second by the Grace of God King of England Scotland France and Ireland Defender of the Faith or Anno Domini One Thousand Six hundred Sixtie Nine I Nicholas Vincent of Woking in the Countie of Surrey yeoman being weake on bodie but whole in minde and of perfect memorie praise be unto Almightie God doe here make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) First I bequeath my Soule to Almightie God hopeing by the reconciliation by Jesus Christ to be saved onlie and my bodie to the earth to be buried in decent and Christian manner according to the discretion of my Executor hereafter named Item I give and bequeath towards the Releife of the poore of the parish of Woking aforesaid Five pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid into the hands of the Overseers for the poore of the said parish by my said Executor and by them to be distributed according to theire discretion Item I give and bequeath unto Anne Barton my kinswoman the wife of Thomas Barton Two hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to her within two yeares next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my kinswoman Joane Collyer Widowe Five pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to her within Three moneths next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Shurlock the Daughter of John Shurlock the summe of Five pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid to her within Three moneths as aforesaid Item I devise unto John Vincent the second son of Nicholas Vincent of Pyrford yeoman my meadowe called Normead with the Coppice thereunto adjoyning and belonging situate lying and being in the parish of Woking aforesaid to him and his heires for ever Alsoe I give and bequeath unto the said John Vincent my Table in my Hall a joyned Cupboard Six joyned stooles and a Chare alsoe in my Hall to remaine as standards to that Roome All the rest of my goods and Chattells unbequeathed I give and bequeath unto Nicholas Vincent the Elder of Pirford aforesaid whome I make and ordaine Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament to pay my debts Legacies and Funeral Expences And I request and desire my loving Friends Edmund Hone and Richard Millard to be my Overseers and I give unto them towards theire paines Twentie shillings to each of them In Witness whereof I the said Nicholas Vincent have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written in the presence of The marke of the said Nicholas Vincent Sam Heath Edmund Hone the marke of Richard Millard.
