This is the last Will and Testament of me George Skeet of the parish of Woking in the County of Surrey Laborer I give and devise unto my Wife Jane Skeet all that my Cottage and piece or parcel of land containing by estimation half an acre be the same more or less with the appurts now in my own occupation situate lying and being near the Hermitage in the said parish of Woking to have and to hold the said Cottage land and premises with the appurts unto my said Wife for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same unto my youngest son Arthur Skeet his heirs and assigns for ever subject nevertheless to and charged and chargeable with the payment unto my son James Skeet and unto my daughters Mary Skeet Jane Skeet and Susannah Skeet or unto such of my said children as shall be living at the time of the decease of my said Wife of the sum of five pounds a piece provided nevertheless that if my said son Arthur shall not be willing to take the said Cottage land and premises on the condition before mentioned the same shall be offered to each of my said daughters in succession according to their seniority upon the like condition of her paying to each of her brothers and sisters who shall be living at the time of my said wifes decease the like sum of five pounds and I give and bequeath unto my said son Arthur Skeet or unto such of my said children as shall take the Cottage land and premises hereinbefore mentioned on the condition aforesaid all and every my live and dead stock and implements of husbandry of every sort and kind whereof I shall be possessed at the time of my decease and having already contributed to the advancement of my daughter Sarah Skeet I give and bequeath unto my said children James Skeet Arthur Skeet Mary Skeet Jane Skeet and Susannah Skeet all and every my household goods and furniture money and other personal estate not hereinbefore disposed of whereof I may be possessed at the time of my decease to be equally divided among them share and share alike and I do nominate and appoint my said son Arthur Skeet to be the sole Executor of this my last Will and revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made I publish and declare this only to be my Will and revoking all former wills by me at any time made I do declare this to be my last Will and testament In Testimony whereof I have to this my will set my hand and seal this 17th day of March one thousand Eight hundred and twenty five _ the mark of X George Skeet _ Signed Sealed published and declared by the said George Skeet as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and that of each other subscribe our names as Witnesses thereto _ Arthur Charman Woking Surry Rebecca Charman Woking Surry Louisa Garton Worplesdon Surry.
