The Homage also present that John Slann (whose death was presented at the 
last General Court Baron holden in and for this Manor) duly made his Will 
bearing date the twenty fifth day of January One thousand eight hundred and 
fifty five the original whereof is now produced and read in open Court 
Whereby amongst other things he gave devised and bequeathed unto his dear 
Wife Mary Ann Slann All his Copyhold property held under the Lord of the 
Manor of Miles?s Green Bisley in the County of Surrey to be enjoyed by her for 
and during the term of her natural life But it was his further desire that 
immediately upon and after her decease that the same should become the 
property of his dear daughter Georgiana Mary Ann Slann and to her and her 
heirs absolutely for ever
