In the Name of God Amen I William Twort of Nelson Street 
in the Parish of Bermondsey in the County of Surrey 
being in health of body and of sound mind memory and 
understanding do make this my last will and testament in 
manner and form following (that is to say) I give devise and 
bequeath unto my beloved wife Ann Twort all my money 
securities for money goods chattels Estate and Effects of what 
nature or kind soever (being all personal) which I may be 
possessed of or in any way entitled unto at the time of my 
death to and for her own use and benefit And I do nominate 
constitute and appoint my said Wife Ann Twort sole Executrix 
of this my last will and testament I also appoint my said Wife 
as Guardian to my children that whatever my wife or children 
may be entitled to from the fund established by the Honble 
East India Company for the relief of widows and children of 
deceased extra Clerks may be paid to my said wife and do 
hereby revoke and make void all and every other will or wills at 
any time heretofore by me made and do declare this only to be 
my last will and testament In Witness whereof I the said 
William Twort have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty 
third day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
