In the Name of God Amen I George Woods of the parish of Chobham in the County of Surry Yeoman being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner following (Imprimus) I give and bequeath to my Eldest Son George Woods Bowling Green Farm situate and being in Chobham aforesaid To his heirs and assigns for ever provided my Son George Woods do take care of all my family till my youngest Child Hannah Woods becomes Eighteen years of age and if my son George Woods should Die without Heirs then it is my Will and pleasure that the aforesaid Estate shall go to my son Richard Woods and his Heirs and assigns and if Richard Woods should Die without Heirs then it is my Will that my Estate shall go to my Son Henry Woods and his Heirs and assigns for ever and if my son Henry Woods should Die without Heirs then it is my will and pleasure that the aforesaid Estate shall go to my Son Thomas Woods and to his Heirs and assigns for ever. The dwelling House and Brimshot with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Chobham aforesaid and now in the possession of George Haines as Tenant I give to my son Henry Woods and his heirs for ever I likewise give to my son Richard Woods Twenty Pounds to be Paid out of Bowling Green Farm when Hannah Woods my Daughter arrives to the age of Twenty one years I likewise give to my son Thomas Woods Twenty Pounds to be Paid out of Bowling Green Farm when Hannah Woods my Daughter arrives to the age of Twenty one years I likewise give to my Daughter Ann Woods Forty shillings Per Annum during her natural Life to be Paid out of Bowling Green Farm I likewise give to my Daughter Sarah Woods Twenty Pounds to be Paid out of Bowling Green Farm when my Daughter Hannah Woods arrives to the age of Twenty one years I likewise give to my Daughter Mary Woods Twenty Pounds to be Paid out of Bowling Green Farm when my Daughter Hannah Woods arrives to the age of Twenty Two years I likewise give to my Daughter Hannah Woods Twenty Pounds of Lawfull money of Great Brittain to be Paid out of Bowling Green Farm when she arrives to the age of Twenty Two years I likewise give and bequeath all my stock upon the Estate of what kind soever to my Sons George Woods and Richard Woods whome I appoint my Executors of this my last will and Testament they paying my Debts and discharging my Funeral Expences I likewise appoint my Two Kinsmen Thomas Woods Senior and Thomas Woods Junior my Trustees for seeing it Faithfully proved in wittness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Twelfth Day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight the mark of George Woods Sign.d Seal.d and delivered in the presence of us Thomas Woods Thomas Daw Mary Booth 22d July 1768 George Woods the Son and one of the Executors within named was duly sworn, power reserved to Richard Woods the Son and other Executor before me Geo Harris This Will of George Woods late of the Parish of Chobham in the County of Surry deceased was proved on the 23d day of July 1768 before the Worshipfull George Harris Doctor of Laws Official by the Oath of George Woods the Son and one of the Executors to whom Admon was granted being first duly sworn to administer, power reserved of making the like Grant to Richard Woods the Son and other Executor named in the said Will when he shall apply for the same.
