This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Shove of Horley in the County of Surry made this Seventeenth day of October in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eight as follows (that is to say) First I will order and direct that all my Just Debts Expences and Probate of this my last Will and Testament be fully paid and satisfied by my Executor hereinafter named and after full payment and satisfaction thereof I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever the same may consist unto my good friend William Turner of East Grinstead in the County of Sussex Gentleman To hold to him his Executors Administrators and Assigns upon trust that he or they do and shall as soon as conveniently may be after my decease sell and dispose of my said Estate and Effects either by Public Auction or Private Contract as he may think proper and the Money that shall and may arise by Sale thereof after Payment thereout of the Expences attendant thereon to pay apply and divide the same unto and equally between and amongst Sarah the Wife of William Thatcher of Horley Susannah the Wife of Thomas Jackson of Islington Catherine the Wife of Jeremiah Jackson of Worth John Colcock of Beckenham and Susannah the Wife of George Marsh of Horley Share and Share alike and which I do hereby give and bequeath to them accordingly and it is my Will and meaning and I do hereby order and direct that the Receipt of the said Sarah the Wife of William Thatcher Susannah the Wife of Thomas Jackson and Susannah the Wife of George Marsh shall notwithstanding their respective Covertures be good and effectual discharges to my said Trustee his Executors Admors or Assigns for the Payment thereof And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said William Turner sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking and making void all former or other Will and Wills by me heretofore made and do declare this and this only to be my last Will and Testament and it is my Will and I hereby order and direct that my said Executor and Trustee shall and may out of the Money which shall come to his hands by virtue of this my Will pay retain and reimburse himself all Costs Charges and Expences which he shall or may pay lay out or expend in or about the Execution of this my Will or the Trusts hereby in him reposed and also for his time and trouble in attending thereon In Witness whereof I the said Ann Shove have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and Year first above written The mark and seal of X Ann Shove (Attestation Clause) C W H Barrow _ Jas Ongley Proved at London 14 March 1809 PCC Prob11/1495
