I John Vanner of Walton upon Thames in the County of Surry Tallow Chandler do make this my last Will and Testament in Manner following First I give and bequeath to my dear and loving Wife the sum of five hundred pounds to be paid unto her within one Month after my Decease Item I give to my Brother Thomas Vanner for Mourning the Sum of ten Pounds Item I give to the poor of the Parish of Walton the Sum of five Pounds for Bread to be distributed at my Funeral And I give devise and bequeath unto my said my dear and loving Wife all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my real and Personal Estate whatsoever And not herein before given or disposed of for and during the time and Term of her natural Life without any Account to be taken or rendered of the same or any Part thereof Item after the Decease of my said dear Wife I give and bequeath unto Miss Molly Cruthers the Sum of fifty Pounds and all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my said real and Personal Estate after my said dear Wife?s Decease I give devise and bequeath my said Brother Thomas Vanner his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever Provided my said Brother do not in any Wise whatever molest hinder obstruct or call to account in Law or Equity my said dear Wife for or in Respect of any of my said real or Personal Estate Then in such Case my Will and Meaning is And I do hereby give devise and bequeath the same unto my said dear and loving Wife her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever And Lastly I do make and appoint my said dear Wife Sarah Vanner my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Thirteenth Day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty one J.Vanner (Attestation Clause) Maurice Hammond _ Chas Craggs _ The Mark of Ann Noel 28 June 1762 appearance by Maurice Hammond of St Clement Danes Middlesex Gentleman Proved at London 30 June 1762 PCC Prob11/877
