In the Name of God Amen. I James Stevens of Farnham in the County of Surry Gentleman being of sound and disposing mind and memory do declare these presents to be and contain my last Will and Testament whereby I humbly commend my Soul to God and Dispose of such Temporal Estate as I am blessed withal in manner following (that is to say) I Give and bequeath all my Household Linen to my Dear Wife Elizabeth Stevens absolutely And all and singular my Messuages Buildings Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate whatsoever and of what nature or tenure so ever situate and lying in the Parish of Dorking in the said County of Surry And all my Stock Utensils and Things belonging to the Trade or Business of a Tanner and also all my Household Goods Implements and Furniture remaining and being in and about my Messuage Buildings and Premises situate in Dorking aforesaid I Give Devise and bequeath unto and to the use of my Son William Stevens his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever Also I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Stevens One thousand Pounds Stock in the three per centum Consolidated Annuities and seven hundred and fifty Pounds Stock in the Four per centum Annuities now standing in my Name in the Books at the Bank of England to be Transferred to her by my Executors hereinafter Appointed within three Months next after my Decease And all the Rest residue and remainder of my Messuages Buildings Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what tenure or denomination soever I Give and devise unto my said Wife Elizabeth Stevens and her Assigns for and during the Term of her natural life And from and immediately after her decease I Give Devise and bequeath All and every my Buildings Lands Tenements and Heredits whatsoever situate and lying in the Parish of Worplesdon in the said County with their Appurts And also one Annuity or clear Yearly Rent Charge of four Pounds a Year issuing and Payable from and out of a certain Farm and Lands called or known by the Name of Nolbridge Farm (or by whatsoever other Name or Names the same be called or known) situate and lying in or near Worplesdon aforesaid with all Powers and Remedies for the recovery thereof unto and to the use of my said Son William Stevens his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever And from and immediately after the decease of my said Wife I Give and devise all and every my Copyhold Lands Tenements and Heredits whatsoever situate and lying at Tongham in the Parish of Seal in the said County or elsewhere within the Manor of Farnham with their Appurtenances And also And also all that my Messuage or Tenement with the Buildings Garden and Appurts thereto belonging now in the Occupation of Thomas Clarke situate and lying in the Parish of Wonersh in the said County And also all that my Messuage or Tenement with the Buildings Garden and Appurtenances now in the Occupation of Thomas Newman or his Assigns situate and lying in Dogfludd Street in Farnham aforesaid And also all that my undivided part and share right title and Interest of in and to a certain Piece of Ground commonly called or known by the Name of Bissinnershall Acre with the Buildings thereon erected situate and lying at a certain Place called Weyhill in the Parish of Wey in the County of Southampton unto and to the use of my Son James Stevens his Heirs and Assigns for ever And all the Rest and Residue of my Goods Chattels ready Money Securities for Money Rights Credits Stock and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (after Payment of my just Debts and my funeral and other Testamentary Charges) I Give and bequeath unto my said Sons William Stevens and James Stevens their Executors and administrators In Trust to permit and suffer my said Wife Elizabeth to have and receive the use Occupation Interest Dividends and Income thereof or to her my said Wife for and during the Term of her natural life and from and after her decease In Trust to assign and Transfer One Annuity or Yearly Sum of Thirty Pounds part of my Property vested in the Government Stock or Fund called the long Annuities and to pay the Sum of One hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain unto my said Son James Stevens his Executors Administrators and Assigns and In Trust to assign and Transfer an Annuity or Yearly Sum of Seventy Pounds other part of my Property vested in the said Stock or Fund called the long Annuities And to pay the Sum of two hundred and Fifty Pounds of like lawful Money unto my said Daughter Elizabeth Stevens her Executors Administrators and Assigns And I give and bequeath the same accordingly and do direct that such Transfers and Payments be made to my said Son and Daughter James and Elizabeth within six Months next after my said Wife?s decease And from and immediately after her decease I Give devise and bequeath all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Lands tenements Hereditaments Effects and Personal Estate not herein before otherwise disposed of unto my said Sons and Daughter William James and Elizabeth their Heirs Executors Admors and Assigns to be equally divided between them share and share alike And I constitute and Appoint my said Sons William Stevens and James Stevens Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament Witness whereof I the said James Stevens the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this and the two preceding sheets of paper set my hand and seal(to wit) my hand only to the said two preceding Sheets and my hand and seal to this last Sheet this seventh day of February in the Year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred ? This Will was proved at London the seventeenth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred before the Worshipful Maurice Sivaby Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of William Stevens and James Stevens the Sons of the deceased and Executors named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased they having been first Sworn duly to Administer.
