In the Name of God Amen I Mary Zouch of the Parish of St Saviour in Southwark in the County of Surry widow being in good health of body and of a Sound disposing mind and memory (praised be Almighty God) But considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof Do therefore make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) ffirst and Principally I comend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping and assuredly believing by and thro the merits death and passion of my only Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ to obtain full pardon and free remission of all my Sins and to inherit Eternal Life my body I comitt to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Execr herein after named and touching such temporal Estate as God of his infinite mercy hath been pleased to bless me with I give devise bequeath and dispose of the same as followeth (Vizt) Impris I will order direct and appoint that all such just Debts as shall be by me owing at the time of my decease together with my ffuneral charges shall be fully paid and satisfyed Item I give my loving brother in Law Richard ffly Ten shillings for a Ring Item I give my loving Sister in Law Elizabeth Zouch five pounds and to her Three daughters Twenty shillings a peece and to her son Henry five pounds and to her son Charles Twenty shillings Item I give to my daughter in Law Elizabeth Smith Twenty shillings to buy her a Ring I give to my goddaughter Jane Rich Ten Shillings to buy her a Ring Item I give to my Cozens Swendell and his wife Ten shillings a piece to buy each of them a Ring Item I give to Sixteen Poor Widows of the aforesaid Parish half a Crown a piece to be given by my Execr herein after named the rest residue and remainder of all my estate both reall and personal whatsoever and wheresoever consisting in houses Lands or Tenements or in ready money or in money due to me on Mortgage Bond Bill Book account or otherwise howsoever and also all my plate Jewells Rings and Houshold goods I give bequeath and devise unto my loving Son ffrancis Zouch Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Mary Zouch the Testatrix have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the thirteenth day of October Anno Dom 1714 Mary Zouch John Compord William Wheeler Proved: 15 January 1718/19 PCC Prob11/567
