This is the last Will and Testament of me Edmund Yalden of Godalming in the County of Surrey Gentleman made Signed Sealed Published and declared this thirty first day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and ten ffirst I desire and direct that all my Just debts ffuneral Expenses and Testamentary Charges to be fully paid satisfied and discharged by my Executors hereinafter named out of the residue of my Personal Estate Also I give & bequeath unto my housekeeper Ann Blunt Wife of Thomas Blunt now or late of Liss in the County of Southampton for and during the term of her natural life all my Share Dividend and Interest of & in the Annuity Stock called the Consolidated Long Annuities And I do hereby direct that the said Dividend & Interest in the said Annuity Stock shall be for the sole separate and peculiar use and benefit of the said Ann Blunt and that the same shall not be Subject or liable to the Debts Management or Controul of the said Thomas Blunt or any subsequent husband of the said Ann Blunt but that the Receipt of the said Ann Blunt from time to time for the same without the concurrence of the said Thomas Blunt or any subsequent husband shall be a good discharge to my Executors for the same And from and immediately after the decease of the said Ann Blunt I give & bequeath the said Dividend & Interest in the said Annuity Stock unto between and equally amongst all and every the Daughters of my nephew Edmund Woods of Shopwick Esquire who shall be living at the time of my decease to and for their own use and benefit Also I do hereby give and bequeath unto the said Ann Blunt the Legacy or Sum of Ten Pounds to be paid to her within one month next after my decease And I do hereby declare that her Receipt alone without the concurrence of the said Thomas Blunt or any subsequent husband shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Executors for the same Also I give and bequeath unto my servant James Cox the Legacy or Sum of ten Pounds to be paid to him within one month next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto each of my two ffemale Servants who shall be living with me at the time of my decease the Legacy or Sum of five Pounds to be paid to them within one month after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto my late Servant Sarah Smith the Legacy or Sum of five Pounds to be paid to her within one month next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto the said Ann Blunt the little working Table in the little Parlour and all the Goods & other things which I bought of Mr John Parrott at the late Miss Yalden?s sale and which are mentioned in his Inventory and subject to the said several Legacies I give devise & bequeath unto my sd nephew Edmund Woods his Heirs Exors Admors and Assigns All my messuages Lands Tenements and real Estate And also all my residuary & Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever the same may be which I may happen to be possessed of or interested in at the time of my decease To hold the same unto my said nephew Edmund Woods his Heirs Exors Admors and Assigns absolutely and for ever And I do hereby constitute & appoint my good ffriends John Leech of Lea in the Parish of Witley in the County of Surrey Esquire and John Hawkins of Cosford in the Paris of Thursley in the said County of Surrey Esquire joint Exors In trust of this my Will hereby revoking all former wills by me made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament And Lastly I do hereby declare & direct that my said Executors shall not be answerable or accountable for any involuntary loss or misfortune that may happen to my said Trust Estate nor the one of them for the other of them or for the Acts Deeds Receipts or Defaults of the other of the other of them for his own wilful defaults only and that it shall & may be lawful for them and each of them to deduct retain & reimburse themselves & himself all such Costs Charges damages & Expenses as they or either of them shall or may sustain or be put unto in or about the Execution or management of the Trusts reposed in them In Testimony whereof I the said Edmund Yalden the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and Year first above written Edmd Yalden Thomas Haines William Young Geo Potter Proved at London 10 May 1814 PCC Prob11/1557
