I Henry Veysie of 41 Recreation Road Guildford in the County of Surrey Retired Engineer hereby revoke all testementary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will. 1 I give and bequeath to Annie Rapley of 42 Recreation Road Guildford aforesaid (free of Duty) the legacy or sum of Twenty five pounds for her kindness to my late Wife during her illness. 2 Subject to the legacy contained in paragraph 1 hereof and to the payment of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts which with all duties shall be paid primarily out of my personal Estate I devise and bequeath all my real and personal Estate (including any property in respect of which I have a general testementary power of appointment) to my Sister Louisa Shayer absolutely and I appoint her (my said Sister) to be the sole Executrix of my Will. Be it known that Henry Veysie of 41 Recreation Road Guildford in the County of Surrey died there on the 13th day of February 1921 And be it Further known that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principle Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice and that Administration of all the Estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Louisa Shayer Spinster Sister of deceased the sole Executrix named in the said Will. And it is further certified that an Affidavit for Inland Revenue has been delivered wherein it is shewn that the gross value of the said Estate within the United Kingdom (exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee and not beneficially) amounts to œ2063 : 18 : 7 And it is further certified that it appears by a Receipt signed by an Inland Revenue Officer on the said Affidavit that œ61 : 4 : 7 on account of Estate Duty and interest on such duty has been paid. This Grant is made upon the condition that no portion of the assets shall be distributed or paid during the War to any beneficiary or creditor whio is an alien enemy, whereever resident, or to anyone on his behalf, or to or on behalf of whatever nationality, resident in the territory of any State which is at War with His Majesty, without the express sanction of the Crown, acting through the Treasury; and if any distibution or payment is made contrary to this condition the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration will be forthwith revoked. Upon an application to the Treasury there will be no difficulty in proper cases in obtaining the sanction of the Treasury to the payment of a mederate sum out of assets to beneficiaries or creditors who are enemy subjects resident in this country at the commencement of the War and during the War.
