I the name of God Amen The Seventeenth day of August in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred fiftie and Three I Robert Walden of Horsell in the Countie of Surrie Husbandman sick in body but whole in mind and of perfect memorie praised bee Allmightie God therefore Doe here make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following. First I bequeath my Soule to Allmightie God hoping by the reconciliation by Jesus Christ to bee Saved only And my body to the Earth to bee buried in Christian buriall according to the direction of my Executor hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Fortie shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her within one yeare next after my decease by my Executor And also my best bedd with all the furniture unto Her belonging and one Chest and a like joyned Box Item I give and bequeath unto Richard my Sonne Twentie pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him when hee shall come to his full age of One and Twentie yeares Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my Daughter Twentie pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her within two yeares next after my decease Item my will is that Alice my Wife shall have the use of the parlour-Chamber in my house during her naturall life if shee continue so long a widow Item I give and bequeath unto John Cobbett my kinsman one Full of Beer All the rest of my goods and Chattells not given I give and bequeath unto Robert my Sonne whom I ordain and make my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I request my Neighbour Henry Collyer and my kinsman John Cobbett to bee my Over-Seers In witness whereof I the said Robert Walden have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written The marke of the said Robert Walden Rob Roake John Cobbett This Will was proved at London the Fowerth day of June in the yeare of our Lord One thousand Six hundred Fiftie Six Before the Judges for probate of Wills and granting Administration lawfully authorised By the oath of Robert Walden the Sonne of the deceased and Sole Executor named in the said will To whom Administration of all and singular the goods Chattells and debts of the said deceased was remitted Hee being first sworn truly to Administer the same according to the terms and effects of the said Will.
