PRO WILL The National Archives Cat Ref: Prob 11/2107 HARRISON Lucy Henrietta Widow of Ripley Executed: 6 June 1847 Proved: 28 February 1850 This is the last Will and Testament of me Lucy Henrietta HARRISON of Ripley in the County of Surrey Widow In the first place I desire all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid out of the first money that may come into the hands of my Executors I give e and bequeath unto my daughter Lucy PRICE wife of Edwin Plumer PRICE Squire all my set of pearls and hoop rings I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Elizabeth HARRISON spinster all my other trinkets and personal ornaments whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my nephew Sir Charles Rugge PRICE of Spring Grove in the said County of Surrey Baronet and George ROSE of Lincolns Inn Fields in the County of Middlesex Esquire my Executors and Trustees hereinafter appointed the sum of Twenty pounds a piece as a remembrance I give and bequeath unto the said Sir Charles Rugge PRICE and George ROSE and the survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such survivor all my money in the Funds Bank Stock or other securities that I may be possessed of whether in my own name or in the name or names of any other person or persons in trust for me and that I have the power of disposing of upon trust to pay and apply the interest and dividends thereof unto and to the use of my said daughter Sarah Elizabeth HARRISON for and during the term of her life and after her decease I give and bequeath one half of the said money in the Funds Bank Stock or other securities and the interest and dividends thereof unto my said daughter Lucy PRICE for her own use and benefit independent of her present or any future husband with power of disposing of the same by Will or in any other manner she may think proper without being in any way subject to the control debts or encouragements of the said present or any future husband the other half of the said money in the Funds Bank Stock and other securities I desire to be paid to such person or persons as she my said daughter Sarah Elizabeth HARRISON may give and bequeath the same by her Will Whereas at the solicitation of my son in law the said Edwin Plumer PRICE Esquire [I contract?] advanced to him the sum of Four hundred pounds for which I hold his receipt bearing date the Eighteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty six Now I do hereby {?] and make void the said debt of four hundred pounds and all interest that may be due to accrue after the time of my decease and I desire the said Edwin Plumer PRICE may not be called upon in any way to repay the same ALL THE REST RESIDUE AND REMAINDER of my property of what nature or sinecure the same may be that I may be possessed of and have the power of disposing I give devise and bequeath unto my said daughter Sarah Elizabeth HARRISON her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever Lastly I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Sir Charles Rugge PRICE and George ROSE Executors and Trustees of this my will hereby revoking all former wills by me before made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this Sixth day of June One thousand eight hundred and forty seven ~ L.H.Harrison ~ Signed published and declared by the said Testatrix Lucy Henrietta HARRISON as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses Arthur James PRICE ~ William Street Blackfriars Robert PERMAN Butler to Mrs Harrison Ripley Proved at London 28th February 1850 before the Worshipful John Staggard Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Sir Charles Rugge PRICE Baronet the nephew and George ROSE Esquire the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
