This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Pocock of the Parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey labourer as follows that is to say I give and Bequeath All and singular my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever unto Thomas Loveland of the said Parish of Bisley Farmer and William Smith of the same place Farmer their Executors administrators and assigns In trust to stand possessed thereof and place and apply the Interest and dividends thereof unto my Wife Hannah and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life Provided nevertheless in case the Interest and dividends of my said personal Estate shall not amount to the annual sum of Twelve Pounds then and in such case I hereby authorize and empower my said Trustees and the Survivor of them and the administrators and assigns of such Survivor to pay and apply a sufficient part of the Principal of such Stocks funds and securities to make up any deficiency it being my Will and desire that she should not have less than the Sum of Twelve pounds per Annum Provided further and I do hereby declare in case of the sickness extreme old age or from any other cause my said Trustees or trustee for the time being shall be of opinion that the said Sum of Twelve pounds per annum shall be insufficient to provide for the necessary support and comfort of my said Wife then and in such case I do hereby expressly empower my said Trustees or Trustee for the time being at their or his absolute discretion and without the controul of any person whomsoever to pay and apply any part or parts of the principal of the said Stocks funds and Securities towards the maintenance support and comfort of my said Wife And from and immediately after the decease of my said Wife I give the residue (if any) of the said Stocks funds and securities which shall remain unapplied and undisposed of unto my Brother William Pocock my said Brother?s Son Thomas Pocock and my Sister?s Son Richard Ambling or such of them as shall be then living share and share alike And lastly I hereby appoint the said Thomas Loveland and William Smith Executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the eighth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two Joseph Pocock + his mark Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Testator Joseph Pocock as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses. Thomas Loveland the surviving Executor named in this Will was duly sworn as such (the other Executor William Smith having died in the life time of of the Testator) and that the effects do not amount in value to one hundred pounds and that he died on the tenth day of December last. Before me Henry Hammond. The Testator Joseph Pocock was late of the Parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey and died the Tenth day of December last. This will of Joseph Pocock late of the Parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey deceased was proved on the twenty ninth day of April 1831 before the Reverend Henry Hammond Clerk a Surrogate by the Oath of Thomas Loveland the surviving Executor named in the said Will to whom admon was granted being first sworn duly to administer.
