This is the last Will and Testament of me Isaac Spooner of the Parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey Farmer I give and bequeath at my decease unto my Wife Mary Spooner all that my Freehold Estate comprising a house and garden and peice of Land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate and being in the Parish of Woking in the County of Surrey and now in the occupation of David Percy To have and to hold the same unto my said Wife Mary Spooner her heirs and assigns for ever Allso I give unto my said Wife all my household Furniture Plate and Linen All the rest and residue of my Property I will and direct that it be sold at the discretion of my Executors within twelve months after my Decease and the money arising from the sale thereof to be applied to the payment of all my just debts funeral expenses and Testementary charges and expenses attending the sale thereof and the remainder of the said money (if any ) I give and bequeath to my said Wife Mary Spooner but if there should not be sufficient money arising from such sale I direct and order that my aforesaid Freehold estate be sold to pay all my debts And I hereby nominate and appoint William Spooner cordwainer of Horsell and Henry Harris Farmer of Woking Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of May one Thousand eight hundred and forty. Isaac Spooner Signed and sealed in the presence of us who in the presence of the Testator and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses. John Hill Henry Hill 3rd August 1840 William Spooner and Henry Harris the Executors named in this Will was duly sworn to the due performance of their Trust as usual and that all the Goods Chattells and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the Sum of Two Hundred pounds and that he died on the twenty ninth day of May last Before me H Hammond Surrogate. This Will of Isaac Spooner late of the Parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey Farmer deceased was proved on the eleventh day of August 1840 before the Reverend Henry Hammond Clerk and Surrogate by the oaths of William Spooner and Henry Harris the Executors to whom admon was granted being first sworn duly to administer.
